I've Got This... (Leon/Mission)

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey wasn't sure she wanted to know what qualified as being the alpha.

Her main focus quickly went to help those still trying to escape as the warriors charged at the group. There were too many energy signatures to keep track of, too many she didn't know, though she might have been able to identify ferals with focus. But she didn't have the luxury of time or focusing. ON overthinking. Blake would have lit into her if she'd let that hold her back again.

But this wasn't about what he would think. This was about her, and now helping these people.

The glow of webbing would illuminate around Bailey's ankles, taking the form of small wings as she would boost her ow stats to beat back the ferals from those trying to escape, aiming her escrima sticks at joints and nerve clusters!

John would scratch his head.

"Just to hurry apparently."

Both Rhona and John would hear the battle now rage!

Bailey's strike would hit true and cause the Feral extreme pain, and the yell would draw more attention as they turned on her, swiping at her head hard!

Success! Sort of. The sound of pain that came from the feral made Bailey's heart stop as she almost dropped her weapons.  She could see why a blade would have been better in this case, but the blow was a bolster as she felt those eyes all turn on her, the new target and cause of pain. She sucked in a sharp breath, tightening the grip on her sticks and raising one to divert the blow to her head as the webbing vanished and reappeared as a bubble that flexed inward with e the feral's strike! Her head snapped to the side with the blow, momentarily seeing stars.

She'd use the other stick to swing at the join between shoulder and neck as the improv shield faded!

With that, she'd not waste any more time. Hearing the loud cries in the distance she could tell where they'd be and on her way she was. Down the tunnels, she went and were a bit surprised to see people coming through them but that made it easy to navigate. where they were coming she needed to go. And without delay, she began to glow getting the attention of all she passed.

"Everyone out head to safety!" It was not long before she came to an opening and amongst other Cabal soldiers who'd had come with her, she'd join whoever was fighting down there. Top priorities were searching for her friend and saving who she could.

The screaming was chilling. Beyond control and sanity, she hardly halted her advance and spotted the familiar petit blond girl. Already on her way to her she found a stack of boxes and leaped up them to hammer down a fist for the closest one to her shouting a loud Kiai as she landed and kicked another one with a flat foot to the gut sending it slamming amongst its own. Hit she would land would cause a burn on contact.

[Leon]

John and Rhona would be cutting a path through the experiments boldly pushing in. Where as Bailey had Alex at her side trying to hit the experiments with his martial prowess... Which honestly looked bad, like... nerd fighting. Though he at least was making fists and was holding his own? Rhone has one near her begin to glow a florescent blue!

Bailey's attack stunned the feral with a whimper, but a blast of energy would scream in from the side and throw Bailey to the ground! Three more were charging her on the ground! (35 dmg) Luckily though Sil came to the rescue with a mighty swipe of her right hand in a back fist, energy pulsed out and threw them all away and into the crowed!

"Come!"

Sil would hand Bailey the baby as she helped her up.

"I'll protect you. You protect her!"

Bailey had to wonder if that's what she looked like fighting before coming to Cabal, but the thought was fleeting as Alex tried and was holding his own! More bodies seemed to be pushing in on the side, one somewhat familiar and both more colorful than those who were trying to escape. She'd look to see what else might be coming to the fray when the passage lit up with bright blue energy, sending the little blond crashing to the floor with her sticks in front of her as other feral joined the fray.

Stars sparked along the ceiling of the tunnel, her ears ringing as she struggled to her feet. Everything felt numb and ached to the point she almost missed that someone was physically touching her as they helped her up. Sil, the other one whose name she had learned. A warmth filled her arms as the baby was given to her by this woman who had been ready to defend her child with her life from her mere hours ago.

"Okay." She'd nod, trying to ignore a world that tilted with the motion as she kept her arms around the infant, weaving the web of energy around herself in case anything else tried to come after her while she had the child and tried to get to safety, calling instructions for anyone still trying to escape. With people pushing in, the panic didn't seem like it would fade.

[Rhona Hall]

It was not hard to miss the glow of one near by. She gritted her teeth and that could be seen through the ripples of her cheeks. Unsure of what its gimmick was she'd rise to its challenge and continue her own glow. Peripheral vision keeping an eye on her surroundings and an watch over bailey.

[Leon]

The battle would rage as Sil bashed ferals left and right. Being a bad ass.

As for Rhonas glowing friend he turned towards her and laughed before exploding! Killing himself and those around him. People screaming before the explosion hit Rhona and John for 35 dmg.

John however jumps in front of it and pits up a dome of fire! Blocking it from them!

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey continues doing the most she can for those still inside, guiding them as the explosion is blocked, baby still in her arms! She felt a wave of admiration for Sil, who had apparently gone into mamma bear mode, her attack wiping through the ferals in ways the little blonde knew she never could.

"Come on, you're almost there," she'd call out to those still trying to break free. Thank goodness for that dome sheild.

She weaves webs of energy around John this time, boosting his abilities as long as she can see him!

[Rhona Hall]

Rhona put up her arms at the blast. She thought it might have been someone like her in a fashion. However when she opened her eyes gain the damage it left made her curse if John wasnt so quick to react. Rhona learned they were willing to die for their preferred goals. She'd keep on her toes to hope this not happen again.

"Lets keep going forward." she'd tell John whiled the path was open.

[Leon]

John would of actually been swallowed by the blast had Bailey not boosted his energy in time. However seeing that the last of the civilians was making it outside, John would grin wide.

"Go to the opening!"

Everyone would move out of the tunnel and John's body would ignite as he pointed both arms at the tunnel a flamethrower enveloping the tunnel.

"Woooo!"

He liked the boost for sure.

However the feral already out of the tunnel were going for everyone, and Sil was even knocked to the ground leaving Bailey and baby in trouble! Two feral coming for her mouths gaping open as energy built to fire at her!

Rhona would feel a swipe to her back, as gashes would open up! Dmg 35

[Bailey Oleander]

Shoot shoot shoot shoot.

Bailey could feel the strain of multiple qi uses weighing her down. She drew deep and bolted out of the way, darting off to the area that had the symbol on the doorframeand pressing her hand down on the symbol where the tree friend could open and close the door.

"Please shut it quickly!"  The thought was directed at the tree spirit, panic seeping into the thought.

[Rhona Hall]

Rhona let John burn up the place as he pleased making sure people were getting out safe. When she felt the sharp pain in her back she let loose a cry from her gut and though gritted teeth. She shoved a refugee ahead of her getting them out of the way before turning around and facing her attacker. With the pain and fury that began to build she'd start her monstrous transformation while trying to speed up her solar ability first and quickly concentrating them to her arms, followed by the elbows, and finally her wrists she'd shoot them and what ever other feral beast she saw. It wasnt until another moment later that she'd realize she might cause some kind of cave in and halted the beam and fell to her weak knees and breathing heavily.

She heard Bailey at that moment and pulled herself enough to take a bolt to the door!

[Leon]

Bailey's quick thinking shuts the door and Rhona and John burn shit down. Now with all the experiments down that were being aggressive they can begin evacuating and helping the people deal with the outside. John helps load people onto the trucks! John also moves to check on Rhona!

"Are you okay?"

Sil however would return to Bailey and smile.

"You did good."

Kirin would also walk up, slightly injured.

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey sighed in relief as the damage came to a close, smiling at Sil's words, a slight flush on her cheeks.

"Thank you. You were pretty amazing back there." She would check Sil for any injuries and, if there were none, hand the baby back to her. Albeit, she was a tad reluctant.  It had been ages since she'd held one - not since her youngest brother was one, and he was sixteen now.  "I'm glad you both made it okay."

It was time to start taking stock of the injured, and hopefully go home.  She had things she would need to report to Leon about down there, like the computers with the records that were mentioned, and the scientists.
