Meditation: Better than drugs (Leon?)

[Avice Locke]

She gripped it wrapping it around her it was cool to the touch but it was quite comfortable in the chill winds. She almost forgot what Leon meant when he said that. But then remembered she was on the roof after all. It was just kind of a nice gestured that what ever this was thought to bring the bed as well. She furrowed her brow and felt some more fatigue. A lot went through her mind and a lot more came in. Answers, questions, and resolutions all came forth to see just what she might do with it all. But first with the answers... She scooted to the edge of the bed, letting go of the cape, her one foot touched the rough and cold roof top. She held onto the bed railing and if she let go she wouldn't have the balance to remain upright for very long. But the cape flowed as if it was made of air and with it attached to her she felt she knew what she could do.

Trusting that she let the bed go. She let go of the only thing that has supported her all week and could have been her whole life. And she did not fall, or falter, she'd not even need any of it as she floated.

Her heart flitted in her chest and her breath caught from disbelief. She'd blink her eyes feeling them well up. She could not recall a time in her life where she'd cry because she was just thrilled. She took too it with out hassle and question turning to face the Dragon. She actually smiled her thanks with slightly parting lips. Not sure really how to express such relief, joy, hope, whatever it might be.

She will not forget it honestly. At this point those here at Cabal would hear much support from their newely enrolled rogue. She'd owe it to them.

[Leon]

"Well at least I suspect it will be helpful with some things. I hear you are expected to return to active duty soon."

Leon would turn to leave.

[Avice Locke]

Once the glee settled in so did that buzzing in her mind. She floated with quick speed to Leon in an instant and grabbed his shirt. Only to realize her hasty move and let go and hop back.

"Wait.. Why did ya 'elp me? Ya didn't 'ave to stick your neck out like that if it was possible I'd find this on my own in time."

[Leon]

Leon would look her in the eyes with a stern look for a moment, before grinning.

"I wanted to see what you were capable of. Where your limits were. I wanted to see, if you could overcome, or if you would be crushed. Will power Miss Locke. Will power is all we have sometimes."

[Avice Locke]

"But what do ya get out of it?" because no one does shit like this unless they want something. Avice would consider this worth something to be given back. But she can't think of anyone being the kind to do these things with out something in return.

[Leon]

"I get to see."

Leon would shrug, taking a breath.

"I have seen countless people. Learn, grow, reach their limit, and end. It will be the same until someone finally ends my life. Tomorrow, next year, a hundred years from now? In that time, I will see you go from this point to your next. In that time I will judge you and see if you are worth remembering. That is all."

[Avice Locke]

She couldn't believe her ears for the moment it was quite the answer. An answer she wouldn't have expected. She brought back a kind of grin.

"Aye... All I ever wanted was to tell a good story. If ya care enough to keep readin' I'll keep goin'." She'd leave it at that. Grown a new respect for the lightning dragon and she'd look forward to keep her days long here at Cabal seeing where the place will take her.

[Leon]

Leon would bow and begin walking away again.

"As long as you keep getting stronger, I'll keep reading."

[Avice Locke]
