The War Never Ended (Open for all fighters Assignment)

[Rozalin Kendal]

"I haven't been this flat since I was a kid." Unfortunate, though what she saw of the outer package wasn't bad. Rozalyn looked down and blinked, her attention turning towards the voice that called for her as she gathered herself to her feet. They all looked and sounded the same, but only one of them was actively moving for an attack.  he others just stood dumbfounded or confused.  At least the real Eric might be getting a show.

"I'm not done playing." Racing to keep up with him, Rozalin unleashed another wind attack, aiming it at her target's feet to hopefully knock him off balance or over completely!

Ominous Winds – Rozalin is able to summon forth winds strong enough to berate her opponent and those in melee range. Damage is equal to 1/4 her ENG stat with a small knock-back effect.

Attacks actually started to move her way and while she'd be protected it never helped the fact it would still hurt. Eric's came swiping through and she phased through swings and debris and... Oops! the table she sat on.

Crawling out from under there she found her notes and watched further. She did not know much about these people. Logic dictates this was not meant to confused Eric but everyone else. Eric himself would show very little mercy or hesitation. She'd try to minimize the guesswork on little factors like that.

[Preston Salabim]

Preston had no idea on who was who at this point. One of the Erics attacked another, but they second one seemed to turn into sand as the blade went through them. There was no telling if that was part of the illusion or one of his abilities at this point. He didn't have enough Data. And as more of them moved it would be harder to tell who was who. Thus Preston did the most logical thing from his standpoint. He would cast his water shield around himself. His lips pressing together in annoyance when his shield did not appear as a ball of water floating above him, but rather by his skin becoming covered with stone as Eric had shown earlier.

This illusionist was annoying...

[Bailey Oleander]

Most seemed to be taken by surprise with the illusion; Bailey was glad it wasn't just her. She wasn't sure which Eric was the real one, but she knew there was one in back with her that likely wasn't the target, and he was getting rushed.

She'd buff (Preston)-Eric's Defense, hoping it helps as she has no idea what else he might have up his sleeve!

Zero Ability: Drawing on the surrounding energy, Bailey can now apply 1/4 of her energy level towards a target's chosen stat. (Preston, DEF ))

Erik smirked as his clone phased through his attack. An interesting ability, but it would not save them for long. He had faced off against similar abilities in his past. It was a nice trick, but it was not something that would win the day, especially if everyone else was so put off by the sudden changes to act.

He'd slice upward with the sword for another attack. He was confident that he could outlast this little trick unless she showed something new. It was just a matter of tiring her out. Typically he'd have a comment ready for this kind of situation, but he'd rather not give Leon the pleasure of having heard him ask to be punched in the smug face. As Leon so eloquently put it.

Oni went wide eyed as possibly the real Eric was swinging for her. She froze at his direct attack opening up her ability to make it pass through. She'd find the force alone would still allow half the damage to effect her. It didn't feel good that was for sure. As she expressed with a short high pitched yelp in Eric's voice. It felt like when her Mother would put her through training. Of which Oni never took to someone coming at her yelling attack or dodge when she got to the field she mostly froze in fear wishing she was invisible.

Zero ability: use 2/5 damage taken is halved when this ability is active and attacks pass through.

Why were they all so still? This made no sense. Standing around on a raided ship would get you trampled or cut down. But one was staring off at another person in the room, another was getting defensive, and another was being attacked. How was this pushing? Rozalin let out a low growl and would rush the same target from behind as he held up the blade.

She'd rush Eric-Eric from behind, using her qi attack to hopefully knock him off balance while he was occupied with someone else! If it didn't work, she'd have to find a new tactic.

The one version of Eric continued it's attack on the other. It seemed that the blade was moving through them, but with illusions up it was hard to be certain what exactly was happening, or if it was doing any damage. Still, he had to assume the more passive one was not the real Eric, and react accordingly.

"At rek Arel"! He shouted another wave of power would extend from him. Doubtlessly appearing to be Earth themed thanks to the illusions. But the effects should still hold, no matter the appearance. Some protection for the one being attacked. Though from what he'd seen moments ago, his shield would not be able to stop the full force of the man's formidable attacks. Motivation to get stronger at the very least.

[Bailey Oleander]

This was unexpected. Bailey had no idea who was actually phasing, but it was intriguing, and a little terrifying. There seemed t be many possibilities for that, but right now, she wasn't sure how to support someone with that ability. For all she knew, pure energy might jolt the person out of the phasing with the blade right there.

Instead, she would charge at the Eric still holding his sword in place from the side, hoping she was hitting the right one thanks to the illusions. She wasn't sure what her powers looked like to others, but it seemed the safest way to handle the situation was handle the biggest threats first together.

If they could.

She'd use her escrima sticks to lash out at his arm, hoping to disarm him!

[Allen Hollows]

The Eric attacking the shield Eric must be his target- he'd seen that defensive attack before, in the form of water. This illusion must work on Qi then too. Allen rushed forward as two of the stone men lathered over his body into armor. The other three ran with him. He'd attempt to full body tackle who he thought was the real Eric, intent to plow him over in a Goldberg-style spear tackle. The other armor men would surround him, to try and see where they could get their licks in.

[Damien Blaze]

Damien spat blood and stood, rushing at the "Eric" that was previously Leon. He'd aim a hard downward slash with his sword, intent to smash the dull-blade into his shoulder. He'd follow it up with a right legged snap kick for "Eric"s chest.

He was grinning, with a rather malicious intent in his eyes, his previously black bracelets now white.

Ability 2: Endurance Absolution - Damien's body has become harder and more capable of following enemies because of his extended lifespan. (Increase Defense and Perception each by 1/2 Energy for thread.)

His eyes flickered to the side by all of the movement converging on him. Apparently, every single fighter had him pegged still. Good for them. Though he had ways of dealing with that. He moved the stone up his body to shield himself so he could withstand the attacks. Once the attacks had made contact, or the attackers were closing in he'd slam his foot down into the ground once more sending out pillars of stone in a ring around him to try and slam into all of his attackers at once.

Phase one of the plan.

Additionally, the sword would thrust backward toward the one that was dive tackling him once his footsteps stopped hitting the ground. The intent was to hit him mid-air with a pillar and then with the blade to throw his attack off completely and send him to the ground. His eyes, however, would remain fixated on the phaser.

Charging Jade Dragon

Level 2: Stone Skin - Eric manipulates a thin layer of stone over his body to act as armor. 1/2 energy stat added to his defense.

Level 3: Tremorsense - Eric's able to read the vibrations in the ground and get a clear picture of his surroundings in a twenty-foot radius with just the vibrations

Level 1: Stone Strike - Eric hits the ground and the shockwave sends out small pillars or projectiles of stone at his foe. 1/4th energy stat added to his attack.

[Allen Hollows]

Without his other arm, there was little he could do to avoid the incoming strike. The stone pillar smashed into his arm, which was against his chest. His arm re-snapped, being already damaged, it was an easy break. The projectiles hit him too, causing his body to flop off to the side, his stone armor now covered in cracks. This put him right in the path of the blunt sword, which crashed into the bridge of his nose, snapping it like a twig. Blood spurted out to cover the blade as his body was forced to backflip.

He hit the earth, hard.

Out cold.

She'd had better times aboard a ship in a storm. Rozalin brought up an arm to try and shield her face, stone cutting through flesh as the crackling of bones sounded as sharp a a gull's cry, and just as obnoxious. She grunted in pain as she skidded across the training field, bringing up a cloud of dust as she came to a stop.

This was getting her nowhere. She needed to sort out where her partner was in this maze of people. Her arm hung limply at her side as she staggered to her feet at the edge of the are for now, circling around the group that might try to stay in closer range.

Time for a new plan.

She doesn't learn her lesson and goes for the Eric still holding the sword, going to punch him in his smug face like they all keep asking for!

Roz's Attack: 13

[Preston Salabim]

Unfortunately Roz's cry for him was masked by the illusion. He could not tell which one was her. But what he could do is see one of them was facing off against the one in the sky. The illusionist he had to assume. And given that the illusions were the largest tactical disadvantage and he could not identify anyone else... IT was the best tactical move to support that one.

The energy around him flowed and shifted to pour into Damien-Eric to replenish his energy. The magic words being masked by the illusion but not losing any of their power. Thankfully.
