The War Never Ended (Open for all fighters Assignment)

[Bailey Oleander]

This was a lot of people, more than she expected. Though she drew her escrima stocks, she held off from attacking at the same time, watching the dynamic of those who took the lead and who would benefit from her support abilities.

Gold webbing would forma round Damien's arms as he launched the first attack. The other woman had a shield to protect her, after all.

Ability #1: Due to her growing experience, Bailey's buffs are more stable. She can add +6 to a target's stat. (Damien, ATK)

[Allen Hollows]

Allen, following the lead of Damien and the others, would slam his hands together. Five forms of Allen would burst out of the ground, shield and weapons in hand. They'd rush forward while a metal sword would form in his own right hand. He'd snake around the outside of the battlefield, attempting to see what's happening.

The five stone men would attempt to surround him, meanwhile.

The first attack was coordinated to a degree.  At least in the sense that they did not all attack from the same direction.  Though not everyone sprung into action.  Two people were clearly using some kind of support abilities.  Likely high priority targets.  Taking them out would weaken the team as a whole.  The busty one with the water was smart to use the jumping one as a shield.  Then there was Arianna... Things were more interesting now.

His expression remained impassive as he reacted.  Bringing a sword up to meet Damien's blade while his right foot slammed down onto the ground.  The ground erupting around him in all directions as projectiles of rock fired forth at his would-be attackers.  If those projectiles did not deter Arianna from her attack she would slice through his coat and shirt to reveal stone underneath, shielding the skin under his clothing. 

He'd glance back at Arianna briefly, his eyes flashing dangerously an instant before he slamming his elbow back toward her face.

Stone Strike - Eric hits the ground and the shockwave sends out small pillars or projectiles of stone at his foe. 1/4th energy stat added to his attack. 

Stone Skin - Eric manipulates a thin layer of stone over his body to act as armor. 1/2 energy stat added to his defense.

[Damien Blaze]

Damien would feel the sword meet his own, and he smirked slightly at the incredible force. As the man stomped on the ground, Damien would slight right and stab down for the thigh, intent to spear Eric through the thigh.

Before his blade could make contact, however, his ass would get shredded by projectiles. His body would be blown backward while his sword would slash and dart and the stones, cutting them as he did so. Three cuts opened up on his body- one on the cheek, a light one on the hip, and the third on his upper bicep. The rest caused bruises, and his body would smash into some boulders.

There he would stay, with a light groan.

Damien is a QC who's sword has the strike capability/durability of 70. His stats as a whole, however, are 10. If he stabs you, for instance, it would do 10 damage. But if it's vs a Qi or item, it does 70.

And then the earth erupted around him, launching projectiles at her her and the shield she bore. The water drenched her as the shield was destroyed, soaking the pirate from head to toe. Ari gave something similar to a sleepy mumble inside her brain, as though just now deigning to pay attention as blue veins spread up from her boows and branched out to her knees.  She grunted as the stones struck, slicing along her arms and clothes and forming spattered bruise pasterns along her skin as she raised her arm to protect her face. It stung, but she was able to press on after a small stumble.

Either he used elements, or it was one in a bag of tricks. She'd have to see just what else he had. She would rush Eric, letting Damien and his blade take point for now as she came from the side, using her wind attack to launch herself into the air and aiming a kick at Eric's head!

Acionna's Infusion: (+2 Attack, +2 Energy) - These shoes seem to be imbued with the power of the sea. When utilizing water abilities, or when fighting in the rain/doused with water, she gains a +5 boost to Speed and Defense. This remains for the thread. Once activated, blue veins of energy crawl up her legs, terminating just above the knees.

[Allen Hollows]

As Eric stomped the ground, Allen's eyes would widen. The stone men would leap away, rushing to the defense of his cohorts, intent to push them out of the way to defend. Allen himself would charge forward through the projectiles, absorbing the damage as he's aim a downward slash for Eric's shoulder.

OOC: Allen's stone men try to push Bailey and Preston out of the way to absorb the damage from the projectiles.

[Leon]

Leon was watching once more with a smile except this time he was going to cause fuckary.

"Good luck."

A massive illusion would now cover the field. Everyone is Eric, all qi appears to be Eric's Qi, everyone sounds, smells, and tastes like Eric. Worse still every person looking at all the Eric's sees them looking at them no matter what direction they are actually facing.

[Arianna Barrial]

Oh no.

At the moment, Arianna was grateful to have been looking down slightly to grasp her dagger. It wouldn't be enough to save her, quick as she was, and one of the projectiles slammed upwards, into her arm. The blonde felt a sickening crack and her vision nearly went white, then black, and it was all she could do to scream for a brief moment.

Combat? Really not her strong point.

Plunging out from her back in response came four blades attached to what seemed like chains. Her vision cleared enough for her to see despite the pain. And for a moment she was shocked, seeing multiples of Eric around, but...instinct told her to plunge ahead and the qi blades (which looked like...stone? What?) moved in a sharp and plunging motion forward to try and slice through any bare skin she could visibly see, into who she assumed to be Eric-Eric. But something inside her boiled with new anger, considering...well. Damien was technically her person to put down, and it would be in poor taste to go after him if she could figure out which was him to begin with.

Logic dictated it would still be the person in front of her? God help anyone else that came at her, though.

Holy crap there's more stone omg what.

Bailey tensed as a giant stone arm came to her defense, pushing her aside like a doll. It was a different energy, but the similar element still threw her. More importantly, it blocked her sight of her opponent as well as the target she intended to buff. She frowned, grateful for the help but worried as well that her chance had passed and someone may be hurt or at a disadvantage.

Then it fell away and there was a room full of Erics. Her eyes widened as she looked down and noticed she was super tall all of a sudden.

"Whoah..." She drew her sticks in defense, not sure what was going to happen next.

[Preston Salabim]

Preston was about to cast another shield of water when the world around him shifted. He was knocked to the ground out of the way of the projectiles and suddenly everyone was the opponent. And what was worse, was no matter which way he looked, Eric was staring at him...

He'd pick himself up and glance around. This wasn't good. Obviously an illusion, but if it was this strong he doubted he could break it.

"Roz! Come to me. We must regroup."

He wasn't sure how else to pick her out of the crowd.

[Onides Une]

Oni was looking at her notes as her fingers suddenly got paler and longer for that matter. She pated herself realizing this was something she'd seen before but never been a victim of. Well at least until now of course.

"Oh..." she clapped her and over her mouth, even her voice! How in-depth could these illusions go? With a slight shift in her seat, she turned back into a red tone only by flushing so hard embarrassed with this whole thing she was positively paralyzed in her seat this round as well. Hand still over her mouth she'd place the notepad and flip it to her Leon stat sheet and begin writing.

"Illusions are as lifelike as he makes them out to be."

[Allen Hollows]

Allen looked down at himself, thoroughly confused by what he saw. He'd summon the soldiers back around himself, the stone men surrounding him and facing out, stone pulled up from the ground to cover the wounds they'd received from Eric's attack. 

At least it was obvious who he was.

"Right. It's pretty obvious who I am. Whoever the real Eric is, bring your fight to me!"

That would alert the others to attack THAT one, right?

[Leon]

Everyone hearing other people talk can only understand.

"I'm Eric, punch me in my smug face."

[Damien Blaze]

Damien propped himself up, using his free hand to wipe blood from his lips. His eyes would be on Sudeki as he sat up- the demon dragon grinning and casting his illusion over the battlefield. 

He stared, and ignored everyone else.

[Mathew Amtrum]

If there was one advantage to fighting alone in this situation, where everyone looked identical, it was that he had no allies. There was no wrong target for him to hit, everyone was an enemy for this situation. It stood to reason that his best move was to play upon that strength and the new weakness presented to everyone else. So rather than hold his ground and defend himself he'd shift the ground under his feet to send him forward and twisting around some of the other Eric's.

He'd end up going for the first one that identified him as Eric and his desire to be punched in his smug face. Something he would need to have words with Leon about later, but for now, he would work with what the situation had become. Though he would not be punching him, rather bringing the sword to bear against him with a downward slash. He would trust in Cabal's protection system to keep them from being bloodied and harmed overly much.

OOC: Level 5: Shifting Sands - Eric can move the ground under his feet giving him a boost to his speed. 1/4 energy stat added to speed.
