[David B.]

"That is correct."

The robot turned to head for the hole in the wall.

"There was no security phrase. Your confusion is genuine. What is it he sent you here for?"

[Leon]

Leon would narrow his eyes at Robot Neo for its ploy. He made a mental note to punch David in the dick later.

"Some large Qi crystal, supposedly that contains some of my energy."

[David B.]

"Ah...you're looking for Evelyn Amtrums soul."

He started back out onto the platform, then walked to the back wall he had jumped out of earlier. His index finger turned into a Key, and he inserted it in a slot on the wall. The doors opened to a large scientific library, full of items. Lights popped on, and they started down the stairs.

"Do not touch anything. Most of this stuff will kill you."

The'd stop about midway through the room, and the bot reached up and took down a small wooden case. It offered the case to Leon.

"Here you are."

Inside would be a small green stone, glowing. He could feel his energy in the box, but in the stone he'd feel something else.

Life.

[Leon]

Leon would stare, silently following along, he didn't really care about the library, in his mind it was collateral damage at this point. However he focused on the mention of the name, and looked at the green crystal.

"Why did David have this?"

[David B.]

"I do not know."

The bot's body was beginning to repair itself.

"But That box could only be opened by myself or him. Otherwise, it would kill the one holding it. You should be fine now."

The bot would hum.

"Mathew Amtrum has returned, hasn't he?"

[Leon]

Leon would blow air out his nose.

"He never left."

Leon would close the box and his mind would fill with what if's. Hoping none of them to be true.

[David B.]

"I see."

The bot reached into a panel beside the wall and pressed a button.

The ground began to shake.

"Lead me back to David Blaze, Lightning. And quickly- this place goes up in forty seconds."

[Leon]

"Tch."

Was Leon's response to feeling the place under them shake. He'd rush outside and get some distance from the facility, finally turning off his Qi. He would reach into his pocket and pull out a small circular crystal, infusing it with his Qi.

"Your appearance annoys me."

He'd jam it into a spot that looked like it would work, and Robot Neo would look like actual Neo from the Matrix. Leon would chuckle.

[David B.]

He looked at his hands, then reached inside the jacket and pulled out glasses, putting them on and looking to Leon.



"Alright then. Lets go."

[Leon]
