"If you want to term it that way, it's fine... I'm just uncertain as to what this is or why it's being given out. Forgive me for my curiosity and suspicion, but it's out of the norm and I'd like to know."

Her medical senses were now full-on tingling.

"Call it... A Marriage between Qi and Plant life. It's easier to explain what it doesn't do than to go down the list of things it does."

The guy would shrug, pulling a bent and smushed in places cigarette. He'd pop it in his mouth.

"In the most basic sense, the fruit reacts to who you are. The definitions of who you are as a person, when you were born, your blood. Pretty much everything, and then enhances these facets of what gives you life and makes your life unique in such a way that it is possible to manifest. Some people notice right away, others never really notice the changes this fruit causes."

Arianna watched him with that doctor's gaze, weighted and weighing.

"So does it change my current qi?"

The guy would light the cig in his mouth and take a drag, blowing the smoke away from Arianna.

"Nope. Think of it as changing, you. Though it is known to... Adjust Qi from time to time."

Melanie made her way. Narrowing eyes at the KID who asked her questions. She shrugged it off and spun dramatically.

“I can manipulate plants. I move my hands and then they move. This can be anything from ‘grow better’ or as dramatic as ‘choke that fuck’ or even ‘make armor around me’ That the kind of rhing you’re lookin for?”

Stevie walked directly to Leon, nearly pushing another kid aside.

“Move faster kid”

Was all she said in his direction. Once in front of Leon she’d grin.

“If you wanted to see me dance, all you had to do was say so.”

She turn in a mock ballet spin. Upon finishing, she’d bow deeply.

“I usually have a larger audience. As you may know, I can manipulate water. I can form just about anything. One of my newest favorites is drowning someone. Or perhaps putting water along the ground at just the right moment to make someone trip.”

“This is not a constructive use of my time. I heal people. Hence the reason I am a nurse.”

“Yeah, I just hit people a lot. Like more than usual. I dunno. I just... I hit em’.”

Atrid had just arrived at Cabal under the suggestion that he go train and learn more to unlock his full potential.Well I say suggestion thats really a polite way of putting it he was voluntold to be her and it shows on his face and in his actions. He really hasn't opened up to any of the other students or staff and now reluctantly arrives at the testing site. 

"You said I had to be here so Im here. But don't think Ill perform for anyone like a damn circus monkey. As for what I know of my qi, in simplest terms, Im able to create, and manipulate both lightning and molecular vibrations. In doing so I can use electrifying and kinetic attacks as well as using the molecular vibrations to congure up a kinetic energy field to protect me." Atrid states simply leaning against a wall pulling out a cigarette and lighting it slowly taking a drag.

Fresh from the road and the first thing they want is testing. In other words, a normal day. Ali's eyes skimmed the bit of the crowd she could see, curious about what kind of people she would be working with as a transfer. When her own name was called, she stepped into the tent and followed instructions without complaint.

"I'm able to draw mana from the world around me," she explained as she turned, not fussing as she was examined. "I use the energy to affect my ability to harm my enemies and support my allies in close combat."

As in battle mage. She was a rune fencer/red mage.

He had just arrived ans it seemed like the right time. Everyone was gathered for a mass physical and evaluation. Well, that was something he could do.

Towering over the examiners he'd stare them down with a steely gaze as they did their work.

"I harness my desire to protect people to hurt others."

He was a Paladin.

[Annie Mei Xun]

"I dunno. I mean...am I broken?" Annie's confused voice floated, disembodied within the small examination area. "I HAVE THESE!"

She grabs an orb out of her hair and thrusts it forward in sudden excitement!

"BUT..! I don't know what they do just yet."

Blink. Blink blink blink!

"What's this?" A fruit?

OMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM.

"Wow...mm, that's," She cleans off the stray dribble of the juicy fruit between her words, on the way out. "Sooo good. Are there more?"

Her stomach rumbled.

Celia peeked around at the last few people still taking physical exams for some form of testing. She thought she was supposed to be here, anyway, shifting from side to side as she noted the dwindling line of tents. It seemed best to go ahead and fall in line.

She twisted and turned, cheeks flushing as she stuttered about bubble making - and silently refusing to show them. She could already feel her gut churning and, finally, escaping the tent as a couple fo bubbles made their way out from under her skirt.

She would take the fruit offered, as it would be rude to refuse a host a gift, especially on first arriving. It was difficult to try to eat it, however; she saw others biting into it with vigor and the black muck that dribbled down their chin.

She would wait to try it in the cafeteria, cutting a dainty piece of the vile-looking fruit with a knife and taking a small-sized bite. Perhaps it would help after all.

Lann is fully compliant, doing everything the instructors ask without question.

Although he's worriedly looking around as he does, not enjoying the fact he was late.

.......Damnit, he was always late.

Faye explains her powers in a very scientific manner, going into all the details of her potential because of her father's proficiency with Alchemy.

Afterwards she takes the fruit and eats it, always one to be open to studying effects. Even on herself.
