She knew better than to make an emotional appeal. He had done everything for his people, and would have died for them. He would not mind letting someone else from Cabal die.

He didn't care enough to argue. He'd just sheathe his sword and move to pick up Rhona. He thought this was stupid, but Cabal wasn't his home, and these were not his people.

IT was more than she expected. Bailey would continue in silence, boosting Blake's strength as they made their way back to the academy. She couldn't make his injuries heal faster, but she could make the burden of carrying Rhona with them easier.
