He'd find out soon enough, one way or another. Perhaps she would, too, with a different perspective than the one she left with.

"Krane gave me his crown to give to his father, before he died," she admitted after another moment. It was easier to focus on current events than ones she might have to seriously examine and question about her own people right now. Especially when being carried around like a sack of potatoes, albeit with more care than what he'd carried Rhona with.

"I was supposed to give it to his father, but Hades told me to keep it."

[Blake Oleander]

"Okay...?"

He didn't understand.

[Bailey Oleander]

"I don't know, it just doesn't make sense to me." She shook he rhead and closed her eyes agains. "It's a sign of his status. I was supposed to give it to his father as a sign of what he did on teh battlefield. And now I'm told to keep it because Krane trusted it to me."

It didn't make sense for something that important, but she would keep it safe, as she had promised. She was glad someone was as confused as she had been over it, though she didn't elaborate onthe why. It felt like bragging over a right she didn't have. Blake would probably disagree, anyway. He knew she was weak.

[Blake Oleander]

"Okay?"

She was freaking out over nothing. He'd just roll his eyes.

[Bailey Oleander]

The same question and tone told her she was either going in circles or not making sense. She shook her head.

"Nevermind. I'm probably just overthinking it."

[Blake Oleander]

He'd continue on in silence.

[Bailey Oleander]

She lets him continue in silence!

They'd walk in silence for a few minutes before he'd speak again.

"Why are you worried about his crown?"

[Bailey Oleander]

"It's silly, isn't it?" she asked with a soft laugh. "I mean, I'm honored, but I figured something that important would be kept with his family. I liked Krane, and I respected him." She took a deep breath. "When I saw his soul, he was smiling. Whole. I never got to meet him that way. He's more solid than his brother, and focused. He was a good commander.

"But Hades also said that he saw greatness in me. It's not the first time I've heard it; Emma did too, back at the tournament's closing ceremony." She gestured with her hands, fingers splayed even though he wouldn't be able to see her dong so.

"I guess i just don't get it. To me, I'm just me."

[Blake Oleander]

"What don't you get?"

[Bailey Oleander]

"I guess I just don't see whatever it is they see." Hence she saw herself as herself. "I'm weak. Inexperienced. Now they are asking to make me an ambassador for another territory." Her thoughts drifted to her fight with Mathew, her arrows cracking, her webbing turning to blood. Being told she had a light about her.

[Blake Oleander]

"Nothing I say will change anything. Your problem is within."

[Bailey Oleander]

"You're right." Of course. "I mean, I could ask what it was they see, or how to follow that path to greatness instead of falling away from it to something worse?" She shook her head, remembering the strange energy that came from her.

"But those answers are probably within, as well."

[Blake Oleander]

He let out an annoyed sigh.

"You still have the same problem as we first met."

She'd come far in some ways, she could wave her stick around sure. But she was still weak and standing still.

"You don't commit to anything."

[Bailey Oleander]

And just like that, he had her silence. Bailey didn't interrupt, waiting to see if he would continue or not without her prodding.
