The kid rolled his eyes.
"I can't believe I lost to this loser." He'd mutter to himself, his tiny fists balling up.
"I don't want to kill you, dumbass. I just need your stupid essence for the competition. Orpheus was supposed to explain it to you."
He was fuming!
John could feel something between him and the kid. Like some invisible energy was connecting them! Something he could tug at or risk having tugged away from him...

At the name drop John's eye twitched. Lowering the hand he would grip the hammer tightly and hit the ground creating stone chest armor. Walking towards the kid he'd glare.
"What exactly was he supposed to explain?"
John would grab hold of the energy he felt. As his flames kicked back up around his body, the violet pink fire dancing about his form as his God right returned.

The kid's eyes widened as John grabbed the energy. Flashes would flicker through his mind of some kind of beast. It was hard to make out except for a mane of red hair.
"That the stars have aligned and the Sun Lion's divinity will shine upon one of his descendants. That we are to battle and draw the essence out of each other to embrace his divinity!"
The kid looked like he was about to throw a fit explaining this.
"God, your even so dumb you didn't listen to him!"
This was so unfair!

John barely paid attention to the flashing images, the words were what interested him.
"Orpheus didn't explain shit, I haven't seen him since I used his harp for kindling to stoke the flames of my forge."
John would tug, hard on the energy using the hammer for the final time to wrap his hands as he stared at the kid.
"Unfair? You don't even know the half of it."

And when he pulls hard the kid would scream in pain as he erupted into flame while John pulled a massive flow of Energy into himself. He'd feel the heat of it settle into the pit of his stomach as flashes of that green monster he'd fought running through his head, tickling at the back of his skull.

John's eyes would narrow at the mass of energy and the kid bursting into flames... That seemed troubling and he wondered if that could of happened to him. He didn't like that the green creature from before showed up in his head, felt similar to that lion figure he saw in his head earlier.
"Guess I'm not getting anymore answers out of him..."
The new plan. Talk to that sonata bitch Orpheus.

The kid didn't die at least, he'd just collapse to the ground panting. his face ghostly pale. John would feel no more energy of Qi from him.

John would walk over, standing about two or three steps away from the kid. He watched for a second not sure how to take the feeling of no Qi energy. He was still in quite a bit of pain as well. Blood covering the majority of his upper chest neck and chin.
"You dead?"
More or less seeing if he couldn't get answers, or if he would need to be a Captive for information.

He snarled before picking himself up and running away, tears streaming down his face!
The Green Monster invade's John's mind again, sending a wave of dizziness through him as he can feel his blood heat up like it was literally bubbling and boiling!

John was in way too much pain to give chase. His hammer didn't have any juice left either. He was going to yell at the kid, but was caught with the yell in his chest, gaping mouth with a saliva string as his hands wrapped around his chest. Falling to a knee as the image of that green monster invaded his mind and senses.
Clenching his teeth the pain mixed with his new found hatred for this thing in his mind.
"Get... Out... Of my... Head!"

Pain and dark fire enveloped his body before lashing out at the ground in front of him. Visions of the beast subsided as his blood cooled down. But he could feel it inside of him. The demonic energy waiting to be unleashed.
John has unlocked his first bloodline ability!
Rancor - John is able to hold on to the damage of an attack that strikes him and throw it back at his enemy with demonic fire. He is able to stack damage for multiple posts equal to his energy.
