Leon's eyes went to Roz for a short time as he thought it over. He didn't feel like Preston would come forward with something like this without cause. As well Preston likely understood the position Cabal was currently in with Prota.

Rozalin nodded as she silently bit back the urge to speak out. It would only be parroting the same words. Hopefully, they would be able to take a vehicle to make it quick, or some other means as her partner mentioned.

Leon's brow would furrow.
"A week could be troublesome with the competition being decided on against Prota..."
He'd ponder rubbing a hand over his chin.
"It could be troublesome if we are even one squad short in the coming weeks."
He'd shake his head.
"Due to the nature of the request not having you at your best would also be in our best interest."
Rock meet hard place.
"I'll give you access to the vehicles in Bay Two. Be quick, as there may be plots in the shadows even before the competition begins."

Rozalin waited without a change in expression as she waited for Leon to sort out his thoughts. It was true they had Prota to deal with, as well, and that timing could be their team at a disadvantage. But if he was the one in charge, then that was his call to make. Otherwise, she'd already be out the door. As it was, she half expected him to tell them no.
"Agreed." She nodded at Preson. "Let's go."
