General Akrin scratched his cheek, his voice soft.
“How many men do you rule?”

"Forty."
He'd smirk.
"Though you would be foolish to underestimate us. If you caught the broadcast from Territory 2's tournament you would see that I myself defeated their current Queen in combat while missing several limbs."
He'd hold up his hand to show his limb had returned.
"I've since recovered from that injury."

Blake would be cut off while saying "though you would be-", General Akrin interjecting.
"We will send one thousand men your way, for the promise of an alliance between our people and yours."

He would nod.
"We will finalize terms once we are victorious then. But I agree."

The general nodded.
"I would ask in return that you not agree to an alliance with any other territory until then, however. So if you have others on the docket to reach out to...you cannot promise to be allies with them until we meet."
Stipulations.

"That is fair. I will inform them as such should that be their request as well."

General Akrin nodded. "Then I will have my men on the transporter to Cabal within the hour. 90 out." He disconnected, and a pending call loaded. The screen came up, and this time it was a woman in armor. "This is High Queen Fredis Gunnhild of The Greater North, Territory 4. Does 259 call for aid?" David spoke up. "Not us, your highness. But Elder Blake Oleander of 63 and 64 is awaiting here to speak with you." She turned her gaze to Blake, waiting.

"With the failing of the Accords chaos is looming over our land. There are those that seek to take advantage and rapidly expand and destroy. They are at my borders now, and I ask for aid to help quash this problem before it has a chance to turn toward your own."

"We would welcome any challenge to our territory. Your people have rebuffed all attempts to communicate with us in the past- now you ask for aid? What reason would we have to fight beside one so small, and weak in standing who does not honor us?"
She stood proud and stared hard at Blake, unimpressed.

"We are under new leadership."
He simply said.
"You have no reason from the past to stand with us. And at this time I am unable to offer even an alliance until things are settled on my end. However, there are things I can offer. Our people are known artisans of the highest quality of mystical weapons to trade. Or if you wish for something more immediate I am willing to offer knowledge on any subject you may wish to have divined. If you doubt that ability of mine, I invite you to ask me a question now that I should not know to verify my sincerity."

She listened patiently, and at his offer, asked immediately.
"What is the secret to the power of the Gods?"

He would turn to Virgil.
"What is the secret to the power of the Gods?"
Virgil would spin and whisper in Blake's ear who would nod and face the woman again.
"All gods have drank the blood of Ymir, the first great being."

He face seemed unchanged, save for a slight draining of color.
"How many men do you need?"

"As many as you can send me. I mean to crush them so bad no one will dare look at us as low hanging fruit ever again."

"You shall have three thousand of our men. And once you've dealt with your....prior engagement, we shall require a meeting of our own."
She'd cut the communication out before he responded, making it clear- she wasn't asking.
On the screen, The Queen he had defeated appeared, this time wearing the garments of her position.
"Ah. Mr. Oleander. How may we help you?"
Interesting she spoke to Blake first, rather than David. But, there it was.
