Ancient Treasures (Bailey/Leon GM)

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey would set the chair and umbrella to the side against one of the walls once they were in. Thankfully, she was small enough that the low ceiling wouldn't cause trouble for her in the same way it did the others.

She kept her distance from the other three, waiting for Virgil's response before she would act on her own. Barker had said traps were neutralized on some level, but she also remembered how the facility had apparently it's own defenses when she and Mathew had entered. No sense in agitating what might be in place yet.

[Sean Barker]

Virgil would respond.

"Four rooms total."

[Blake Oleander]

"Where is the Golden Fleece located inside of the facility?" He'd ask Virgil again.

[Leon]

"Back room, far wall."

Virgil said flatly

[Blake Oleander]

"Well we know where your prize is."

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey would eye Virgil with surprise, the almost mechanical response far different from his twirling and enthusiastic bow. Was that normal for him? Shaking her head, she spoke up, understanding Blake was the one who had to ask the questions.

"Is the security satisfied enough for us to use our abilities without setting it off?"

[Leon]

Barker would move to the door in the back and try to look through the small windows, but it was too dark to make out anything of use.

[Blake Oleander]

"You came all the way down here without lights?"

They clearly didn't expect to find the vault. Blake's eyes would glow red as he looked around!

OOC: Monster vision lvl 2 - His eyes turn red with slits for pupils that allow him to see further into the electromagnetic spectrum up to and including heat and night vision. These keen eyes allow him to pick up on details he may otherwise miss +6 Perception

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey shook her head, but it was directed at Blake's comment rather than Barker's seeming lack of preparation. The man was a scientist; there would always be dependent and independent variables. The question was how much he had prepared for, and what else he could do besides turn into Asiv.

"Hopefully there will be more visible when we reach the back room." Like Virgil said.

[Leon]

Barker would shrug and open the door for Blake. Blake would find an oddly similar room to the one they were in. Almost down to the chips and scratches on certain surfaces. However all the stuff in the glass cases were different, otherwise Blake would feel like he was simply stepping into the same room.

[Blake Oleander]

"Why are the rooms the same here Virgil?"

The same layout he could understand, but chips and scratches. That was eerie. Either way, he'd enter and examine what was in the cases.

[Leon]

"The rooms shift and mix every so often. The rooms are meticulously made exactly the same by a Qi field to confuse would be thieves."

Once again his response was robotic and flat.

[Blake Oleander]

"Why is your tone different than it has been before Virgil? Are you okay?"

He'd never heard him be so robotic.

[Leon]

"The effects of the Qi field. It wants nothing to be familiar."

Barker-Asiv would scoff.

"Figures it'd be something subtle."

[Blake Oleander]

"Thank you Virgil."

He responded as he continued to lead the way to the fleece.
