[Rozalin Kendal]

There's a firm, rhythmic knock on Leon's door!

Rozalin figured she may as well talk to him about his kid.  Or the symbiote type thing that had latched itself to his face and she'd had some fun knife play with.  The coffin thing was weird, but not her business, and at the end of the day, Leon hadn't been a jerk or lord his rank over her.  The one time she was in his office as a trainee, he'd let her be and only asked for needed details instead of prying.  So she could respect that a little bit now that she was free.

A favor for a ruined night out.

[Leon]

"Enter."

Leon was there in the center of the room flouting in meditation.

Rozalin slipped into the office, leaning in and shutting the door silently behind her. Her gaze flicked over the floating Dragon, her expression neutral but not bored as it had been the first and last time they'd met.

"Hope I'm not interrupting anything too important."

[Leon]

The illusion would drop with Leon crouching behind her inspecting her ass.

"Not really, just thinking over some things."

Rozalin snorted and rolled her eyes when the illusion faded, not surprised. She reached back to swat Leon away to a respectable space.

"Right. So, now that I have your attention, I'd like to you about your son, rather than my assets." Of how she had implied to Sage she was offering.

[Leon]

Leon would swat at her hand as he stood up and walked over to his desk.

"Well. Business it is then. What exactly would you like to talk about?"

[Rozalin Kendal]

"I'm not exactly the type to fall over your desk to get your attention." Seeing as she'd already had it. At least he got the point the first time. Rozalin smirked a little that he might think otherwise, but it faded when Leon proved to be able to take it seriously. Good.

"I wanted to speak to you about your son." She frowned for a moment. "He went by both Spike and Sage when we spoke. Either way, I figured you heard of his condition when he was brought to the infirmary."

[Leon]

Leon would watch Rz with the usual goofy grin on his face.

"Sage is his real name. I called him Spike as a nickname since he was old enough to walk."

Leon explained.

"And yes, he was pretty exhausted and his body had strange injuries. I put him in an Ayatlan stasis spell in that coffin."

He pointed to the wall.

Rozalin turned her gaze to the coffin that she had seen before, nodding once with a thoughtful expression before turning her focus to Leon once more.

"I can explain some of that, at least. We found him on patrol that night, staring at Cabal like he could burn a hole through it. I'm assuming he was looking for you?" Since he mentioned fighting Leon as a need. But go figure Ayatlan spells would have a way to handle it. She shifted, one hip out to the side as she brushed her hair behind her ear.

"The injury was most likely due to the fact he had an artificial symbiotie attached to him."

[Leon]

"That does explain a few things..."

Leon paused to look to the side and think on it.

"You say artificial, how do you know that? Symbiote's as far as I remember are hypothetical beings only recently proven to be fact."

In response to his question, Roz raised a finger and tapped her cheekbone right under Ari, who made a ridiculous purring noise.

'Don't be a tease.' he pleased in her head. She resisted the urge to roll her eye.

"Apparently, they can sense energy sometimes, too. Mine, for example, was able to pick up quite a bit on it. It was used as a form of mind control, from what I understand. Prota apparently isn't a stranger to making them, so Preston and I thought we might do some research to see what we could learn of it." Results undetermined.

"Also, pretty sure I'm dead if you take mine off somehow. Ari freaks out if anything sharp gets near him, but the one Sage had was ripped off by him, himself. I'm assuming in a moment of conflict. He was bleeding pretty badly, and the thing actually tried to crawl back in place." She shook her head.

"It had the spunk to try and fight me with the knife I skewered it with, so I used my sword and set it on fire. I don't know anything about the eye, though."

[Leon]

"The eye isn't his."

Leon would respond while pondering the new information. Prota could be using mind control to manipulate some of its more stubborn citizens to do what they want... The caste system over there was just rediculously strict as far as anyone could really even hypothesize.

"It's possible they were using the eye they put in his head to communicate with the other eyes through the symbiote. The way you describe it's fighting back and using a weapon... That's all together freaky."

[Rozalin Kendal]

"I noticed." She snorted and shook her head, still standing. "Freaky, but it died like anything else, from what I see, as long as you're thorough. Like I sad, it wanted to be back in place pretty bad. I'm not sure what happens to the one controlling him when it dies." She raised a brow.

"It was pretty invasive.. WE had someone in Cabal uniform help get him patched up enough to get back here, anyway." Now she frowned, remembering the man Oni had been freaking out over.

[Leon]

"Hmm, could be part of the artificial things programming. Or desire from the controller, maybe fear."

Leon speculated but shook his head.

"Huh, no one came forward, people usually want something for helping a Dragon, let alone helping a Dragon's family."

[Rozalin Kendal]

"Because the man's name is apparently Sean Barker?"

Just a guess. Since she, you know, has actually helped deal his drugs to other places as a pirate crew.
