Complications

[John Strike]

Seemed these last few battles that had come to and through the doorsteps of Cabal was only beginning to prove to Strike how weak Cabal must be to allow so many territories to do what they want. For them to even be brave enough to attempt such a thing in the open. No territory under Prota would dare, they knew better.

These were just some of the thoughts and ideas running through Strike's mind as he found a nice place to relax and wait, since the leaders from Vindicta and Zekunft had yet to arrive to join in the examinations and competitions set up to uphold the accords peace time laws. The courtyard of the academy along with two Prota soldiers as guards seemed as good a place as any.

Cael was also enjoying the pleasant day, under one of the trees as he watched a squirrel intently. It was weird to see it, he was still used to the desert wasteland that was his home. And yet here everyone had water, food was abundant, and animals were not attacking anything for scraps of food. This little squirrel was just minding it's business and doing animal things.

It was astounding to the gentle giant.

Ali was, for the time being, minding her own business in the front yard, her studies laid out before her as she made notes, jotting side comments and ideas to herself. Her conversation with Michael still fresh in the mind, she found herself wondering how long it would take for the other territory leaders to arrive. Not to mention the results if the war continued to tear this place apart. 260 was aligned with Cabal; she'd rather not see that change.

She looked up at the sound of a squirrel chattering and minding its own business as it scurried about, a slight smile on her face as she watched it, nodding to Cael at the unmistakable sight of him. Whatever Strike was up to, he was relaxing for now, so not taking more of her attention than needed.

And on the scene would walk a tall man at least a foot over Strike. Vibrant swept back red hair and blue eyes.

"John Strike... Been a long time and... You look younger than the last time."

[John Strike]

Strike would chuckle standing up and shaking the large males hands.

"Says the ex-leader of the group that called themselves The Immortals, Alexander Malice."

[Caelan Xander]

Cael would slowly stand to see a man about as large as he was. It was... unusual.

[Allison Kazim]

The name caught Ali's attention as much as the height. The lower world seemed to be full of walking walls of flsh and muscle, though the name was one she recognized. She also rose to her feet. Partially out of respect and acknoledgement of two other Territory leaders, but mostly because she was the shortest of the four there and sitting down made her even more aware of the differences.

"Hahaha, that was YEARS ago. Leader of Vindicta is fine now. Anyways, I heard some of the battles and skirmishing was even on the campus here, couldn't tell by lookin' at it."

[John Strike]

"You are correct. I offered to support Cabal in it's defenses, but Asiv was persistent on allowing his forces to earn their mettle as usual."

[Caelan Xander]

"I assume you thanked him for protecting you and your men with his soldiers then?"

Cael would speak up, his voice rumbling as he  moved toward them from his spot.

[Allison Kazim]

Well that was interesting. Ali's gaze looked at Caelan with a raised brow, his rumbling voice almost enough to rattle the air. Brave man, addressing two of the Big Four leaders so bluntly. And admirable.

[John Strike]

Strike would smile slightly and look to the large male, like Malice here.

"Well, o-"

[Alex Malice]

Caelen would feel the force of a fist against his cheek that would send him sailing many feet before even being allowed to touch down. Malice would be there holding a hand out, however was much too far away to have hit Caelen.

"That was rather rude of you, Malice. I was speaking to the man."
