Spike shuddered a bit.

"When I was 8 he had me capture an airport infested with raiders and gangs."


Weigrif would nod.

"Conditionally you would have to stop wearing that."

He'd chuckle figuring that was obvious.

"Leon sent a fair purchase for small bit of land with a farm and house. You can stay there with the Spike kid until we have something built for you."

He'd raise an eyebrow at that.

"You would demand Ares to hide his armor?"

And it was brand spanking new too. He wasn't feeling it.

Definitely not the type of training she and her sister had experienced.

"Glad to see you lived."

[Sage Sudeki]

"So was I."

Spike said as he waited a little bit.

"You are probably used to that sort of thing by now though."


Weigrif would nod.

"Yes. It stands out, we aren't trying to broadcast we have any military might."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"As long as it's clear I will use it at my discretion of what I deem as my duties then I can agree to it."

"Our training matched the intent that our parents had for us, for both my sister and me," she added, since Spike had seemed rather out of the loop in the first place.

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would huff a bit of a laugh through his nose as his smile turned bitter thinking about his early life.

"If that's the case, I guess my dad wanted me to rule the world... Or destroy it."



Weigrif would nod.

"I see no reason to say no to that."

[Mathew Amtrum]

He'd nod.

"Then if you will direct me to our accommodations I'll let you return to your... meditations."

[Evelyn Amtrum]

"And what do you want to do?" Simple enough question and purpose. If he hadn't done what his family intended, then Spike had intentions of his own.

[Sage Sudeki]

Sage would look at Evelyn and stare for a moment. His face was calm, he had become good at holding a poker face from the years of captivity and adjusting to that life. He decided in the end not to answer, instead would intervene in the conversation with Mathew and Weigrif.

"If they are crashing at my house till you build them one, I'll show them the way."

Spike would begin limping out to the dirt road to lead the way.

It appeared they had their answer. He'd bow to Weigrif in respect and thanks.

"We will catch up later. Enjoy the rest of your day."

And with that he'd follow Spike.

"Your own place already? Fast."

[Evelyn Amtrum]

Well that was certainly an answer. Evelyn would continue along in silence, shrugging off Spike's silent response as they made their way inside. It seemed they had an escort, and followed after hte limping Sudeki, taking a look around the area as they went once they were on their way.

[Sage Sudeki]

It was a regular little country village. a single wide dirt road ran through the length of it, with small fences area's for personal gardens, kids playing and people working. At the entrances to the village would be restaurants and shops to help travelers, but otherwise it was it's own thing.

Weigrif had returned the bow and went back to baking his goodies.

Spike on the other hand kept ahead of the group.

"You know me, Mathew... Gotta get a jump start on everything."

However it wouldn't be long till they reached the stone path to his modest two story house. Fenced back yard with multiple fruits and vegetables being grown, and a small field with some live stock.

"It's almost dead center, prime realestate some might say."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Uh huh."

He didn't know Spike to get the jump on anything. Ever.

"And what do you plan to do with it?"

"It's cute," she observed with a straight face. Like the village. Quaint, a little homey. Reminded her of a dollhouse, but the whole village seemed that way.
