"Maybe you should try pulling on it or something."

Her fourth dish did nothing special, it remained separate pieces and the mask bit had the constant energy output.

"That was my next idea," she admitted with a nod, a slight quick of her lips. She'd honestly thought bout breaking part of it off as a stress test if needed; she had the ability to form a monster arm of her own now.

Bailey proceeds to pull the sample using tweezers and tools to see what happens!

She doesn't get much of a reaction besides small rises and drops in energy output. It hasn't latched to any new material.

[Bailey Oleander]

"Alright then, time to up the anti." Bailey assumed the fluxes were due to stress without the material being in actual distress. Sighing, she set down the utensils and stepped back, returning a short time later with a piece of safety glass. Several, actually, and lay a couple of the pieces out on top the sample dish.

She would use some of the tech to add more stress on the material as she used them to pull at the sample with more strength than she had without falling back on her qi!

The samples would begin to increase energy output steadily as it tried to fixate itself and combine with anything it could, including the dish and safety glass! Even the tool Bailey was using to pull at it!

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey sucked in a breath, chalking the machine up to a loss until she could find some way to get it free, if that was possible at this point. She took a deep breath and grabbed a couple more pieces of safety glass, setting them on teh table while the chaos was now destroying precious technology. Frowning, she pulled her arm free of the sleeve of her shirt, wincing and gritting her teeth as the bones stretched and crackled, the muscles with it until her monster arm formed.

"Looks like it just keeps growing," she mused with a sigh. One could argue chaos counters chaos, but it also could just feed off of it. It seemed this was the latter.

She doubled the strength of the pulling, knowing the machine was lost already. She'd grab the safety glass and bring it down on the corner to strike at the material where it was the most stretched, hoping enough force would break it.

Interesting, too, how heat caused it to shrivel and die in the dish, while this consumed everything it could.

She slammed the glass's corner down, letting go on impact to keep it from latching on to the glass as well as more of her own body.

Acquired Ability: "Scorpion Grip!": With he power of 60,000 newtons of force Bailey is able to grip adding her full energy stat to her Attack stat.

Teamwork Acquired Ability: Monstrous Claw - Bailey's right arm morphs and cracks into a monstrous claw that adds 3/4 of her energy to her attack stat, while the transformation is +8 Def while active.

She rips the parts of the mask free, which injects a massive amount of energy out of the mask which shrivels into nothing into the material it had latched onto, the pressure expanding exponentially as the machinery went into over drive, being run solely by the chaos energy injected by the mask sample. Hitting numbers of energy figures Bailey's PT couldn't even read just giving off error and warning messages.

BAD IDEA BAILEY.

While it does prove that the mask can be destroyed if enough force is applied, the ultimate result is "not worth it." The scans and alarms continued to scream out their warnings as Bailey went to turn off the machine! Even if it was running off of chaos, she could at least try to keep it from being fed even more energy from the source that had originally powered it.

The machine was feeding off the influx of energy the mask had given it, it did not show signs of slowing or stopping in the slightest, even after the power was cut.

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey takes another look at the readings! If they're too close to critical, she'll book it, but otherwise she'll try to dismantle the machinery a bit to see if she can limit the consumption, or at least not constantly have the machine overpower from direct contact with it!

Dismantling the machinery seems to do it, though the red and black energy is still coursing through the parts!

Does it appear to have kept any damage she might have inflicted on it, or is the chaos sample fully healed and rage-tilting on the machines?

The mask sample has completely turned to dust with no power remaining whatsoever.

[Bailey Oleander]

With parts of the machine still in overdrive and the sample itself turned to dust, Bailey woudl let the scan continue recording as she called in for a containment unit. They would need to keep this under tight wraps until it fizzled out, or they could safely drain the energy. Right now, she didn't want it exploding in teh lab or risking the city. She'd already done that enough today.

But it was enough. And she would definitely need to talk to Blake.

Until either of those happened, however, she would try to set up a barricade with teh safety glass.  She wans't sure how to draw the erngy out without making it melt down, but she could try to prevent extra damage if it did. How was she supposed to bring order to pure chaos?
