Lann's head will not stop screaming.
It hurts his throat.
His body starts feeling around to try and find its way out of there!

And shoves dirt in his mouth.

Lann's body is barely able to take steps without bashing it's shins or hand on things.

She forces his mouth shut so he'll stop muffled screaming too. Also he's forced to eat dirt but that wasn't actually part of the plan. "Lann. You can have a meltdown later. What has happened to your body? Are you being digested?"
She lets go of his jaw after.

Cael can see that the sand has dipped to a specific point in the middle like the top part of an hour Glass still draining.
Lann's body is crawling, but not making much progress anywhere. It is definitely not being digested though.
