Carl gets his other foot in and hears a loud shift before his body drops a few inches suddenly. Then the sand begins flowing like water sucking everyone in falling a good fifteen feet onto rushing sand inside a cave. There is gold coins everywhere, skeletons wearing combat like equipment and even a tank. Everything seems well preserved!
Lann's body is against a far wall around some more of the crag like area.

Cael starts picking up some of the coins and stuff! Looks like they found a treasure vault or something! Something like this could have gone a long way back home.

Lann’s head looks desperately around for his body, which starts running towards him once he sees it, like a dramatic lover reuniting.
Reattaching his lost bits, Lann goes to inspect one of the suits of armor.
“What is this stuff? From before the war?”

Faye just gives a sad groan as she falls. There's sand everywhere. Gosh.
Lann's lucky she lets his take his head back.
She starts to look at the tank, snagging a coin on the way because research. Can she theorize just how old it may be?
"I wonder if there is a tunnel system...or how it all fell down here."

Cael collects some coins!
Lann sees the battle armor is quite old, webs and the skeleton inside it. Though the armor looks only slightly damaged. He notices a flag on it he doesn't recognize. Two eagles facing away from each other with a sword in the fore ground.
Faye sees the same flag on the tank, and finds a huge gaping hole ripped out of it like an explosion went off inside the tank... However there are no blast burns.

Then looks around at the other stuff! There was so much!

It wasn’t theirs, after all.

Faye doesn't commit to an answer, running her hand over the non-burned blast hole...then starting to crawl into the tank.

Cael has a good horde of pre-war gold coins.
Lann brings up a good point.
Faye finds odd balls of maybe softball sized amalgamation's of the battle armor with bone sticking out like some morbid art exhibit. But she also finds mini fridge hooked to a power cable of some kind attached to the tank, which is somehow still running.

Faye finds ice cold carbonated beverages! That are still freshly carbonated somehow!
