Double doggy dare (Cael, Lann, SQUAD TRAINING)

[Cain Rhamos]

Lann looks at his shoes.

[Kaia Galanos]

"There are two ways we may go about it." she says, glancing at Cael and Lann.

"We can either stick together and tackle one thing at a time. Or. If you both are feeling adventurous, you could start investigating the site without me while I concentrate on the child. It is likely best to have at least two people go as we know how dangerous the road there has been."

[Caelan Xander]

"Well... what would we be looking for?"

[Cain Rhamos]

"...I don't know what clues we're looking for..."

Lann's being honest.

[Kaia Galanos]

"Things we may not have seen before. Even if it means nothing to you at the time, it may become a missing puzzle piece when researched along with the things we did find. Perhaps there are more tunnels. Other chambers."

Forget it. They would do better just sending other people...like researchers or something.

"If you are not comfortable with investigating, perhaps the better option is sticking together."

[Caelan Xander]

He wasn't not comfortable. But he wasn't sure what would be best.

"Well, what do you think is best? You know us, I trust your judgment."

[Cain Rhamos]

Lann is uncomfortable as all hell.

"I-I don't want to go back down a-alone..."

[Kaia Galanos]

Her problem is she doesn't know just how useful they'd be helping her with the kid.

"I do not wish to waste your time." she admits. "If you feel uncertain about what to investigate, we can all go back once we potentially find out more about the child. If you wish to help me with that, I admittedly do not know what you have to offer on that sort of research."

She knew how they could fight, and their personalities...but the level of their knowledge on something like this was admittedly something she never really got to observe.

[Caelan Xander]

"It's not wasting my time. But you know more than I do when it comes to this stuff. You think it's best I go back into the hole then that's what I'll do. You think we should hang back and wait for you to do other stuff, I can do that too."

[Cain Rhamos]

"Y-yeah..."

Lann nods.

Cael knows what Lann meant to say. Clearly.

[Kaia Galanos]

She doesn’t like that they are relying on her. She prefers being responsible for her own failures, not the potential failures of others.

“Let’s wait and see if we find anything. Perhaps I will send you both away if anything substantial occurs.”

Like any confirmed clues that there may be more down there than they saw.

[Caelan Xander]

"Alright. You're the boss."

He was fine with it.

[Cain Rhamos]

"O-okay..."

Lann, surprisingly, agrees.

Surprisingly.

[Kaia Galanos]

She feels awkward but it doesn't show. This is terrible.

"Perhaps we should get started..."

So no one keeps waiting for her to tell them what to do.

[Caelan Xander]

"Okay."

He was waiting for her to start!
