Lann would be right! As soon as he lunged for Cael, his body would light up as his aura began to flow and his muscles bulged. He'd reach out to grab Lann and throw him at Faye!

Lann gets grabbed! Even as it happens, he kicks out, trying to do something to Cael by maybe hitting him in the nose.

Faye drinks her defense potion, assuming she was going to have a harder time taking hits rather than dishing them out.

No point doing anything physical herself. She knew she wasn't really strong. She starts moving after Lann, but finds he's being tossed back at her instead. She blinks in surprise, but "catches" him with her body. Could hurt worse. She just ends up shoving him out of her way.

Faye retaliates against Cael by releasing her Dragon pulse!

Lann hits Cael but it doesn't seem to do much! The Dragon pulse however does cause a bit of damage, pushing him back and causing him to grunt in pain. But despite that his face split into a wide grin. She was doing it!

He was inspired by her progress and he felt himself growing stronger because of it. He couldn't let them down!

So he'd ignore Lann for the moment and dart forward to try and punch Faye in the gut with all of his might! He wouldn't hold back on her and stunt her progress. That's not what a good teammate would do!

Lann can make it rain in a 20 ft area around him for four turns no matter where he is. Making all 'Water' or 'Ice' type moves stronger by +18. Lowering the effects of all 'Fire' or 'Heat' based attacks by -18

Ohhh God. Well he's fast as all hell, so she couldn't dodge. So, not trying to change something she can't, Faye steels herself and prepares to take the punch!

The rain makes it really dramatic.

Luckily, thanks to her defenses, the hit isn't NEARLY as devastating as she thought. It hurts about as bad as a regular punch, and she falls back with a grunt and a wheeze.

"That's...some punch." she coughs, content with laying in what was turning into mud for a bit.

Out of spite she gets up to her knees and sends her Dragon Pulse after him this time.
