She waved it off. "Oh I am over that now I believe. I got to tell him how I feel before I died and now that I went through that I wasn't..." she rolled her shoulders trying to find her words. "I wasn't going to wait for it or... Plan for it, I guess?"
She looked at Soni maybe that made sense but she knew it wouldn't. "I cant create a dreamy love at sunset moment you see in movies where that person just suddenly looks so... Amazing their are hardly any words that do justice." yeah she nodded, that did it. "I am not waiting on it anymore, if it happens it happens. Right?"

"That's totally understandable." Soni felt like normally, this would be the part where she'd share a little bit of her struggles to be relatable but she had nothing. So, subject change was certainly needed.
"Idk about you but this tree branch is getting uncomfortable." Soni quickly hopped off and softened her landing with a blast of low sound. She looked up at Oni (and her eye sight would follow the tiefling should she choose to come down) and asked, "So, you mentioned training. How does that look for you?" Soni knew what studying looked like, definitely knew what fighting looked like, but she certainly wasn't completely sure what training entailed (ha).

"So... We have thousands of acres of training field and they have different climates and terrains that fit any setting. I've been working on my upper body strength. I have a keyblade... It is huuuge and heavy! So I am working on that." she leaned backward and slid off the branch, feet over her head, and flipping into a landing that was smooth and well timed. The tail came in handy during these situations.

Soni gave a face that showed she was mildly impressed. "Quite the gymnast are we? But hey, training sounds fun. I'm gonna have to try that sometime." She meant that; using her ability in different environments sounded wonderful.
Classes on qi, super cool training grounds; giant frogs getting loose every now and then or not, this place definitely seemed like one of the best places to be, even if it wasn't super normal. It was a new normal she was definitely happy to be a part of.

"Got it." Soni slid her headphones back on her head. "Well I'll see you around, weirdo." Soni would do a finger gun to get across that she was joking.
Oni was nice; Soni was confident she had made a good friend to trust and to find whenever needed. Another weirdo, indeed. Hopefully Oni felt the same.

She waved a hand to Soni and checked her phone for a time.
"Absolutely! See you around!" and with that she would head off toward the building she came running out of the last Soni saw of her sunk into the wall, tail last thing to leave before disappearing completely.

Soni did a quick two-finger-salute-type wave. Her music began to play again. She looked at all the students around her, listening to their sounds of laughter and chatting. All of them being..normal.
As for Soni she had made a new friend and learned about what she was really getting into. It was the perfect start to a new normal.
Now...studying, training, or fighting..
