Bailey, shielded, decides to be super helpful and point out the trail of blood she picked up with her PT!

"Are you sure you want to follow it?"

She paused for a moment, considering, then nodded.

"It will still be here, regardless. We don't know if or when it will come back."

[Blake Oleander]

"Stay close."

Blake would follow her direction toward the trail!

They would follow the trail to a den seemingly dug out under a large tree, where yellow eye's peered out from the hole, growling.

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey does so, keeping an eye out on the trail and scans with her tool.

Though not so much that she doesn't keep lose sight of what's right in front of her.  Like the glowing yellow eyes from the creature before them.

Blake holds out an arm to shield Bailey still when he sees the yellow eyes!

Bailey halts where she is, looking over the beast...and scanning it.

It is injured! Wounds that have not properly healed, reopening, and infected!

[Bailey Oleander]

"It's injured," she said quietly. Much as she'd thought, the blood was fresh but there hadn't been signs of fur or another animal being brought down. Not that she'd seen, anyway. "Old and new." She frowned.

"They're infected." She kept her eyes down as she continued her explanation.

"We could help it."

[Blake Oleander]

Blake frowned but didn't move.

"Be careful. And be slow."

[Bailey Oleander]

"Right." Bailey gave a slow nod, carefully approaching the panther as she spoke.

"I'll need to clean the wounds, but we have medicine to help the infection before I close the wounds." Slowly, so slowly. She knew Blake was keeping an eye on her as she continued, gauging what the qi beast would allow by its reactions.

Blake waited. And would let her do her thing unless the panther attacked.

[Zack Asiv]

Once in view Bailey would notice it was laying down, breathing heavy and quickly. It's mouth opened a few times and it was wearing leather armor much like the dead soldiers. However, as it felt threatened, markings on it's body would glow revealing that it was a large panther, about the size of a horse! It's back right leg was badly injured, hanging, it also had old pieces of arrows, swords, spears, and other sharp objects still pierced in its flesh in areas. It would take time, but Bailey would be allowed close enough to touch it.

[Bailey Oleander]

"Easy now, easy." Bailey would continue her slow approach, her voice low and soothing. Her eyes widened at the extent of the damage that was lit up by a streak of rainbow through the pitch black fur, showing all sorts of injuries and weapons still attacked to it.

"You've the strength to endure so much." Cautiously, she would kneel, still talking.

"I can treat the wounds, but it will take a bit of time. Some of this will likely hurt; they're embedded in the flesh." She took a deep breath, staying where it could keep her in its sight as she pulled out a small medical kit, her heart hammering in her chest.

"I want to tend to your leg first. I'll need to touch it and keep it lined up so it can heal cleanly." If it woudl let her continue to touch it, she would tend to the worst wound first, let it be able to breathe easier without the pain or feeling trapped. A hunter with a limb that was dragging it down, vulnerable.

If allowed, the golden energy would begin to weave the limb back to the rest of hte battered body.
