Elias has taken Rose into the outskirts of his territory to find some bandits!

While he doesn't expect there to be any massive groups around his territory yet, considering how... little, they have to steal, there must still be some. Small groups were fine, but he was currently looking for the largest concentration he can find.

He's got some examples to make.

"Don't look weak, Rose. We're trying to make an impression."

He gives her advice as they're walking.

Rose would nods a bit nervously, trying to keep herself from having a posture that showed off her meekness. With great effort, she would straighten herself up, trying to keep her head high.

"S-should I s-stay back?

May as well get that figured out off the bat.

On their way they had passed by some smaller camps of two or three bandits. Nothing special. If that's not what Elias was looking for, he would eventually happen upon many sets of footprints as the pair went further into the wilderness.

"You'll stay back, somewhat, if it gets violent. I'll be able to handle it on my own. But don't let them do anything to you if I'm busy."

Because no one touches Elias' stuff.

Two or three isn't enough, and he continues on, following those footprints! He needs to start building an army, and he doesn't have time for just piddly amounts.

"Okay!!" she gives a sharp nod, feeling better about where she's expected. At the very least she can probably take care of herself. It's only bandits.

Elias sees that the footprints seem to belong to at least six different people. Or one twelve-legged creature wearing various pairs of shoes.

Hmmm.

They can't see any camps yet, though.

Well this is goddamn annoying.

Elias starts walking faster!

"What kind of bandits hide?!"

[Stigma Wyatt]

"H-huh?!" Rose starts half-jogging to keep up, not sure why he's so upset!

They end up following the footprints until the end! And I mean end-end. They don't lead away anywhere.

Elias' hands grip into fists so tight they start to draw blood.

He just stands there, seething with rage.

Rose quietly pats Elias' shoulder before pointing up at the trees.

If he looks up he'll see hammocks and little platforms!

Whether he looks or not, three bandits drop from the trees, circling the pair.

"What do we have here..?" a woman with long hair asks.

"They don't look like that have anything." a spunkier one answers!

"Hey...actually doesn't the guy look familiar?" the red-headed male asks.

He does look, though it doesn't stop his angry scowl on his face.

"I should be. I'm your king."

Well. Soon to be.

"Which one of you's the boss? Or are they not here yet?"

[Stigma Wyatt]

The trio all but laugh at his declaration. But it does answer their question.

"I'm the only one you need to talk to." says the long-haired woman.

"And I'm not sure if I care enough to hear you out. If we kill you now, we got dibs on all the shit you've been hoarding."

"Aww, come on. Let him tell us his story!" the other girl giggles. "What if it's good?"

"Have it your way." Long hair shrugs, apparently not that concerned with Elias.

"So you're the head so far."

Elias turns to look at the longhaired woman.

"Fine. Then I'll keep it short. You, and your bandit crew here, work for me now. If you do as I say, you'll have a lot more stuff than you've had scrounging around here on your own. Of course, if you don't do as I say, I'll kill you."

"How much stuff you talkin'?" the male asks, his curiousity piqued. The long haired woman just crosses her arms, content with hearing the answer.

"That depends on how successful you are."

Elias answers honestly.

"The more of you that join, the more stuff you'll get. Right now, I'm looking for people to be my new enforcer crew, to keep my territory in line and work them into being soldiers. There's only so much one guy can do."

[Stigma Wyatt]

"Sounds like more work and probably the same amount of gain." she spunky girl pouts.

"Hm. We've been getting more than enough robbing the bandits that robbed you." Long hair says with a shrug.

"Plus we get to do whatever we want while we wait." The male adds.

[Thorn Wyatt]

"No bandits rob me."

Elias says firmly.

"None who are going to live that much longer. I'm in the process of making it a lot more difficult for them to do that."

Which was the point of hiring them, sadly.

"However, I'm fairly lenient. I don't care what you do, as long as it's not taking my things. Otherwise, you can take what you're strong enough to have."
