Spike would take them to Merlin to be placed in a safe liquid so they don't decompose. He'd need to meditate for the time being however, finding a water trough to wash his face and upper body from the sweat. Finding a spot to sit and meditate.

A little old woman hunched over and using a cane to walk, covered in a well worn brown cloak would walk up go Spike.
"You made quite a bit mess on the road earlier this morning young master."
She would say with a wrinkled smile on her face.

Spike would get up abruptly, using his normal senses to try and see if he were being watched.
"Lady, get inside somewhere and stay put."
He grit his teeth and made his way back to where the bits of the Katashi fuck would be on the main road, relying on his training to look out for tracks, or different markings somewhere.

During Spike's investigation he might come across a familiar trail off to the side of the road...
Not just familiar, but COMPLETELY IDENTICAL to the one he saw earlier, but if Spike looked around, he might notice this was not the same spot the last one was at.

A man would come walking out of the path a metal bat in his hand. As soon as he was out of the path it sealed and disappeared behind him. The man would just stare at Spike. |

The man would look from Spike, to the bat, and back. Then he would raise the bat to point at Spike, making a slicing motion the man would now have the returned to it's side, but, instead of a bat it would now be a sword. The man would then cock his head to the side with a bored expression in his eyes. Almost as if to say, is this better?

Spike would spread his feet apart holding his hands at his wast on the left side as if he too had a sword the guy couldn't see, inching forward as if testing his opponents swordsmandship. A huge grin on his face.
"Let's see who is the better swordsman."
