CIFTR II: Coffin House (Quest Fight)

[ABSO Unit - "Neo"]

Alerts would be sent to Triton Augustus , Caelan Xander and Avice Locke .

'You have been selected for enhanced combat training. Please report to the eastern wood, central clearing immediately.'

Once they all arrived, they'd find a Cyborg-like man standing in the center of the clearing, hands at his sides as he would slowly watch each of them approach. Numbers were pulled into his mind as he scanned each of them.

Cael: 148. Expansive growth potential, extreme physical abilities.

Avice: 153. Standard growth potential. Qi-abilities tendered.

Triton: 55. Low growth potential. Water-based Qi enhancements.

"Welcome, Cael, Triton and Avice. Thank you for accepting my request. I am on a mission from an outside territory, and hoped you three might assist me."

He blinked metal eyelids.

"If you could please fight me, it would go a long way toward helping my cause."

[Caelan Xander]

Cael was confused by the message, and even more, confused when he arrived to see something. A man made of metal?

"Uh. Why? What cause?"

[Avice Locke]

"I don't even attend Cabal anymore... Maybe I should put in a change of address, this spam mail is a drag." she actually held a few envelopes of actual spam mail that was sent her after her disappearance she was asked to pick up.

But she looked strangely at Mr. Roboto the entire time she spoke, obviously including it in her "trash talk". Noted as she tossed the mail in a near by disposal before stepping up next to the large fellow. Crossing her arms she would be listening should it answer Cael's question.

[ABSO Unit - "Neo"]

Neo responded.

"To prepare the future." He looked to Avice. "It wasn't on Cabal's behalf that I called you. It was 71."

[Caelan Xander]

He looked between the two of them.

"Where is that? What do you mean?"

[Avice Locke]

Avice snarled at the robot. It was televised and painted red for her, which by the way she currently can see color.

"It's Blaze's new toy... that Storm Dragon sent him to gloat." Eyes glowed red with anger. Prota tells her a lot of things. Keeping up with the world helps to know your enemies. "Which means he might not be far off watching... Or better yet just listening." she was far nettled at David Blaze.

[ABSO Unit - "Neo"]

The mecha man tilted his head.

"This facility has no idea what is coming. The battles that it has fought, the wars it has won...those were constructs, divined in such a way that the leaders of the territories would feel confident in the amount of bloodshed, of lives taken versus lives lost. What waits on the horizon...is the true war. The war to end all wars- greater even than the last. And this place....is not ready."

He stared back at Cael.

"71 is known as "Storms Edge". It's on the eastern coast. And yes, David Blaze is it's King." He looked hard at Avice.

"You are....angry with him?"

[Caelan Xander]

"Wait. What?"

He blinked. He remembered bits of the war from his childhood. To think something could be worse...

"How can it be worse?"

[Avice Locke]

To answer the Robot she bared her fangs. "Has nothing to do with you. But I know he is viewing this. I've seen where his eyes reach, I spat at his feet because I knew the truth then of his games and yet still he made me a fool and I can only blame myself but I will make him pay for his part of it just the same."

[ABSO Unit - "Neo"]

He seemed confused. Neo would try to assist.

"The civil war for America's independence, back in the day, was a terrible war filled with much death. But when the powers of the world came together, and began to destroy each other with powers that multiplied each time they met- that was worse than the civil war, would you not agree?"

And unlike the world wars of the past, much of it would take place on the north american continent. He blinked at Avice.

"I'm sorry...I don't know what you're talking about. But I apologize on his behalf, if he did anything to harm you."

[Caelan Xander]

"Okay... but what does the civil war have to do with what's coming next?"

He was so lost. Wasn't the civil war like hundreds of years ago?

[Triton Augustus]

Triton was intrigued by the call, standing outside the academy. He was a student not known well to this campus; for what use could they need him?

He entered the structure and found his way down through the halls. When he arrived at the room he believed to be his destination, he saw the three mainlanders:

One he knew already; he had face the man before, and he was certainly a worthy opponent. They would likely not be fighting at this time, however.

The female he was a stranger to.

Then the man in the center. He certainly was not like the mainlanders Triton knew. His body was coated with metal, and his eyes birthed light. An odd man. What exactly he was captured Triton's mind, and it hungered for an answer.

Letting the group converse, Triton entered slowly and stood just past the entryway inside of the room.

[ABSO Unit - "Neo"]

"It was an analogy. The last great war of the territories was bad, yes. But this one....this one will have planetary repercussions. Many of those we'll be fighting have want what the territories have."

He looked to Triton.

"Welcome. Thanks for coming."

[Caelan Xander]

"Like water?"

[Triton Augustus]

Triton nodded in greeting to the being that greeted him, and he stepped forward in response. He remained quiet though, as he realized they spoke of war, and the man who had defeated him on a previous day spoke of water. His heed was certainly had by all.
