"Is there anything in particular you'd like? I can see what kind of blueprints we have or can start on."

[Blake Oleander]

"I don't know what your people have been working on before I showed up."

So he didn't know.

[Bailey Oleander]

She nodded.

"Last I knew, they were working on an energy wall. We were trying to find the best way to keep energy going to one of the crystals that would house it." It was one thing they'd wondered if she'd be able to add a bit of spark to when she came back from Cabal, a quick fix battery if they couldn't and things went bad or power drained out.

"Otherwise, I'm sure they'll be taking a look at the developments that have been made so far here." Like a wall of qi crystal and how that would come into play.

[Blake Oleander]

"I would be interested in that if our people can figure it out."

[Bailey Oleander]

"I'm sure they have ideas on something." She turned on her PT to send a message for updated blueprints and caves of the tunnels after the last expedition to be ready when they came by. There would be plenty to look over along with the development and labor reports.

"If not, it's a matter of time."

[Blake Oleander]

"If they can come to me with a sound proposal I'll see it funded."

[Bailey Oleander]

"I'll make sure they know." She smiled and leaned against him for a moment, still thinking half business for a moment as she did so.

[Blake Oleander]

He put his arm around her and just silently enjoyed the view, imagining what it would all look like when it was completed. Security for this land and its people. Thanks to the teleportation crystals supplying the people of this town and fortification would be easy. And it would make a siege far more difficult. He'd promised them before he'd become a King that he would do everything in his power to see them protected and their lives better. This was him trying to do just that.

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey was content to enjoy the view as they were for a while, looking over it all not with strategy in mind, but sentiment. She relaxed against Blake as they took the moment, the sound of construction going on below, voices a soft din that occasionally wafted up if they neared the ladder.

"We should probably see the Council, too," she murmured after a moment, longer, not yet moving. It meant, of course, talking to her family and all the chaos - irony not intended - that would come with it. "They were really pleased with what you had planned the last time I saw tehm."

And that didn't count her family on a personal level.

"I suppose we should. But let us just enjoy the view for now."

[Bailey Oleander]

"Agreed." She smiled and closed her eyes for a moment, despite the fact it went against what he just said as she wrapped her arm around his waist, feeling nausea war with exhaustion with no clear winner which would win. But when she opened her eyes again, it had another contender; the view, the solid presence of her partner, and the future unfolding before them for Aurora.
