He steps back from her a few steps, then clenches his hands, flexing his muscles.
A brief white aura flares around him for a second, then vanishes.
"....like that."

Level 0 – Body Empowerment: Valerian enters each thread with 0 energy, and his energy stat is the maximum amount of energy he can attain. To gain energy, Valerian must charge himself, gaining energy at a rate of 10 energy if moving, and 20 energy if remaining in place.
For every 10 points of base energy Valerian has, his other stats (attack, defense, speed, perception) are increased by 4.
Attack: 18/20
Defense: 18/20
Speed: 13/20
Perception: 13/20
Energy: 20/20
Qi Usage: 1

It keeps flowing for a few seconds, before he lets it drop.
