Well. It achieves what she assumes was the goal. Lann winning a fight afterwards likely wasn't important. Especially if they were trying to keep him nice and wholesome.

Faye takes out her Data collector, targeting Lann and empowering Cael.

The side effect was...concerning. Best put him down until he gets better. Probably.

The blade cut through part of his vest but was stopped by Cael's man muscle. Cael would lift an eyebrow at both the sudden unblockage of energy within Lann, and the sudden aggression.

"Hey, calm down there Lann." He'd say trying to grab Lann by the shoulders.

"Faye, something is happening with him internally..."

ABSO Combat Boots (+1 to each stat) - These boots have mini jets on the bottom, allowing for flight for up to five posts. Clicking a switch at the heel of the boot turns the mini jets into turbo, allowing for a vast increase in speed according to the wearers power. Add energy to speed for five posts. A third slot has opened into the switch queue, and when used, the boots metal slides up to the knee, covering the knee cap. Joints and such are still moveable. Add energy to defense for thread. Must choose one option at start of thread. Increase is only based on base energy + item increases, not stacked. Non upgradeable.

Lann is over whelmed by the sudden release of energy within himself and all his muscles seize up. He loses conciousness as if frozen solid.

"Nevermind. It has resolved itself."

Faye grabs the water bottle and shakes her head dramatically.

"I will be sending a letter of choice words to this manufacturer."

Now it's the water's fault again.

Like a statue, Lann just stands there. Unmoving.

Cael pushes his arms back when Lann goes for his eyes, holding him back before he passed out in his arms.

"Uh... Lann?" He'd shake him. "Lann? You okay bud?"

He didn't understand what had gotten into him.

Faye moves over to check on Lann before looking at Cael.

"I believe he's simply passed out. Perhaps we should put him to bed. He may have been using hard drugs the past few days."
