She looked at Spike with a deadpanned expression as he laid out the plan, nodding and intending to show her improvement as well as theirs as a team, but unless Spike thought she was going to start hitting herself, there wasn't much to exploit there. Evelyn would duck to Spike's left as he went for her father, letting him step in front of her to take the focus of the attack as she sidestepped the two before launching her attack. With Spike hopefully gaining the advantage, blades of energy would tear through the air, hurling themselves at her father as she sidestepped once more, taking a flanking position as the gauntlets formed on her hands and formed studded knuckles. Eve expected the stone spikes to make another appearance, but even if she didn't, she knew how well trying to sneak around her father was in general, from games as a kid to even just trying to see if she could inside their home. Mathew just let them strike him, his chin moving up with Spike's uppercut, lifting an arm to let the blades Eve threw at him strike him there rather than his torso. He'd let his tongue move around the inside of his mouth, testing for possible blood before lifting his shoulders slightly in a shrug. Not there yet.

Spike didn't expect to do much, but that sucked pretty hardcore. He'd drop low and spin out a leg sweep, activating his battle aura right before contact, his eyes erupting into the Seikatsugan, hoping to take Mathew off his feet, sweeping through into a spin coming around and with the same sweeping leg now lifted well over his head, before shooting it down at Mathews still falling body should the sweep work to kick and then smash him into the ground as well. A small magic circle would appear above Spike's head in front of his heel before he dropped the foot down at Mathew!
"HAAAAAAAAAA!"
Spike let out a yell as he put his core muscles into it.

Why did that feel like a trick question? It reminded Eve of last time they went all out in training, the glow of her constructs forming gauntlets that extended to knuckles as she stayed on the move, sidestepping Spike and going for Mathew's side if it worked, aiming the blades from before at his legs as well. The ring she wore began to glow as a beam burst from it, aiming at her father's chest while aiming to slam her fist into his other side side. All it out was.
+1 Power Tattoo [ADD-ON]: This tattoo glows when needed adding +5 to a chosen stat. If there are any other Power Tattoo's in a thread they also activate. The Tattoos connect and add all bonuses to each other. (If one person activates it and gets +5 Atk, it activates someone else's tattoo, they choose +5 Spd, both get +5 Atk and +5 Spd.) (CHOOSING +5 ENG)

The corners of his lips twisted upward as the two began to get serious. The power rippling off of Spike was reaching impressive levels, he was starting to tap into his actual power. That was good, in time he'd be stronger than Leon ever was. He just needed to get over his hang-ups and stop holding himself back. And Eve, Eve needed to find her focus and killer instinct again. She needed to figure out just what she wanted so she could take it. She'd faced death already, now she could allow herself to be unshackled from fear.
Mathew would be swept off his feet, slamming into the ground with Spike's attack as he hit the armor under his clothing, Eve's own attack and blast following up kicking up the dirt and dust of the ground from the small crater that formed around Mathew's body.
"You overpower them." He'd say before his body sank into the ground, popping up off to the side. The scorpion armor overlapping his body as he took aim to line up a shot for both where both kids would be lined up for his beam attack. "Or you do something they can not handle."
And with that, he'd fire the beam of energy at the young offspring. The time for kid gloves had passed. They needed to know that going forward, they played for keeps.

Spike didn't have time, or the faculty to see the attack coming as it ripped through him throwing him to the side, where he was racked with pain unable to move for now.

What the hell was the armor thing? That was new. Not that Evelyn had much chance to comment with the strength of the attack that came back at them. Unexpected and overpowered both, she'd try to give them a little more to mitigate the damage that stacked up to a whole lot of pain, only to find it was too fast for her to keep up with. The attack knocked her back and off her feet, sending her sprawling as the world went fuzzy for a moment. But beyond it was a strange sensation that she latched on to without hesitation. The energy that felt like a delayed reaction when it hit would lash back at those in range with a heavy blow! "Holy shit."

Pressure Release: Evelyn can absorb the damage she takes and hold onto it within the same thread up to her energy stat +20%. She can then release this energy in a blast of damage around her, sharply increasing gravity and doing the damage she has stored to everyone in a ten foot radius of her. The gravity goes back to normal as instantly as it was increased, feeling like the person was crushed by a fist from the heavens. (50x20% = 10+50 = 60)

Mathew rose an arm to shield himself from her blast but he nodded slowly. The blood flowed through her just as it did him. Good.
"The Sudeki are not the only ones with gifts of the blood. Use it, learn it, Master it, but do not rely on it. To rely on a commonality like that creates vulnerabilities that can be exploited. Better to keep it close to the chest as an ace up our sleeve if things get rough."
He didn't attack for now.

Evelyn shoved her hair out of her face as she pushed herself upright with a grunt. Her father had certainly kept it close; along with the armor. It had worked well for him. Better that she keep it close, especially while she was still learning it - and she would learn it.

Spike: Aura Construct - Spike is able to condense his battle aura to a weapon of his choosing. If he misses an attack the aura explodes for half the damage to him and anyone nearby. (Eng + Atk in Dmg)
Mathew: Stone Strike - Mathew hits the ground and the shockwave sends out small pillars or projectiles of stone at his foe. 1/4th energy stat added to his attack. (Mutation: the stone projectiles are now covered in hardened Qi for additional damage! +18 for Damage Calculations)
