Leon's essence wouldn't even realize what was happening or have a chance to respond as Preston proceeded to flip that essence around and ride it around however he pleased because it was now his bitch.

Thankfully for it, Preston had no intention to ride it, rather study it. Taking down detailed notes on how it behaved and how the energy flowed through it. Taking notes of where energy might pool, and how he could replicate the energy that he was seeing here for consumption.

Preston would have no problem mapping out the energy flow and even understanding the make up of Leon's essence. He would succeed in discovering a few possible ways to attempt at creating a usable item for consumption.

Preston was not in a hurry to use up the energy that he'd trapped. A slow and methodical approach was still the best way to replicate this power and energy as far as he was concerned. Any other way risked catastrophe, and he was not willing to sacrifice his facilities, men, or time if he did not need to.

His first attempt would be a replication of the weave that he had just mapped out. Qi and many of the enhanced abilities people found themselves with today were simply applications of mana used instinctually. Most people did not know that they possessed mana, let alone how to properly harness and shape it. As powerful and menacing as Leon or any of the Elder Dragons were, they were still people. And once you peeled back the legends and mysticisms they shrouded themselves with they were no different than anyone else from that era.

Preston stood back to give himself room as he adjusted his glasses and drew his mana within himself. He still refused to use all of his mana, this was a work of finesse, not brute strength. Even if what he sought to create was.

He'd intone as his aura lit up and he'd begin the slow painstaking process of trying to replicate the woven tapestry of energy and Mana that made up the Essence of Sudeki. His hands slid through the air tracing invisible lines of power, the basic framework of the essence. Swirling inward to lay in the veins of the soul. The pathways in which that power and essence could move.

"Atham!"

He intoned again with more force as his jaw clenched as his hands vibrated with mana as he slowly sculpted the peaks and valleys where the power pooled and thinned. Sweat beaded on his forehead as the air sparked and crackled with power as the energy twisted and writhed as he tried to replicate its faults and all. One's first instinct would be to improve it, to take away the rebelliousness, the boorish pride. But meddling with the recipe of the soul would intrinsically alter it at a fundamental level, and that would defeat the point.

"Giken emgash eral!" Each syllable was punctuated with a bolt of energy much like lightning would strike the new essence as he tried to give it the breath of life inside a small sugar tablet that he had prepared.

Lightning Sugar- The sugar is imbued with Leon's Lightning Qi! The individual that consumes this gets a boost to the physical stats for 3 posts. However, once the Sugar wears off the users body is fried after having lightning flow through out their body. +10 to Physical stats for 3 post, -5 to physical stats after 3 posts.
