"That's a good question. I would guess as long as you keep expanding your territory, you could make walls for a while. However, I would suggest trying to be officially recognized if you plan on expanding into the Northern Territories. If not then, maybe head south with your expansion?"

"You could expand into the Deadlands, or south. I'd say be very careful of expanding within the territories due to current threats from outside sources. This is the perfect time for them to decide to annex troublesome territories."
Gaia would suggest over her shoulder as she signed a few papers. Lucien would nod and just hold up a hand quickly at Gaia's suggestion.

"They will care, so don't take the territories leading there. Just go to the Deadlands and take land. There is technology that allows teleportation as you've experienced. No reason to connect land if you can get your hands on it. Besides, you take care of the Deadlands issue and subjugate the whole place, they will have no other choice, but to recognize you."
Gaia continues.

He lists them off without any real concern.
"And free him from the other dimension, though I'm unsure of how to do that still."
