Elias grabs his hand, hunching over from the pain! It takes him a second to recover after his father releases it, and he slowly stands up again, still holding his throbbing hand.
"That's... a good trick. I can make people bleed almost at will, and getting my blood on someone isn't usually a problem."
Seriously. He bleeds a lot.
"Are you the... blood magic expert, I guess? Or does mom do it too?"

Gaia shakes her head as Lucien puts his hands on his hips.
"Yeah, it's just me. Leon's eyes you see. It allows him to be able to see all of your power. All your potential, even stuff you don't know. I unlocked my Bloodline ability because of him, and when I saw what his Lightning Dragon Core was capable of, I joined up. I studied in Ayatlan a bit, just to get a feel for the magic part of it."

"No... I think it would be a good idea to move whatever army you have into the Deadlands and push for a foothold to begin a serious military campaign instead of going in alone, or even with the girl."

“Army? If I took an army, that’s not the same as defeating a Territory by myself. That’s on my list.”
He furrows his brow.
“If I take my army away from Dirt, the people will leave. Unless... the two of you want to watch it while I’m gone.”

"Well that depends on how you like at it really. The Deadlands as a whole, sure you could consider it a territory in and of its self, but. There are factions with lands they call their own. You could say there are many territories in the Deadlands to capture. I simply suggest moving a force into the Deadlands to make sure you have a supply line and a base of operations you can trust."
Lucien would explain his thought process.
