Asiv would sigh. He knew Preston was right, but he figured Elias would just fail out, or his entire territory would just die out.
"Well one way or another he recently announced himself to be a Dragon Apprentice. We haven't seen one of those in over a decade, which means he will need to be escorted and monitored either way."

Given the reputation fo the Dragons during their younger days, Ali had mixed feelings on a noble being a Dragon, even an apprentice. Even if it did fit a pattern. Because he wasn't observed and monitored earlier.
