[Trinity Sudeki]

Trinity made her way around, not really in any kind of a hurry, toward Cabal again. She didn't really have any sort of purpose at the moment other than to make sure things were going alright here and there. Since the Sudekis were not really around anymore but scattered here and there, there weren't any orders being given. At least no orders given to her. Until thigs got back on track, Trin would keep up training and wandering. It had been a few months since she had last seen Raikotsu. He was headed for Cabal and planned to do something with Asiv. Obviously he was going to be fine. Asiv was good at keeping people safe. That was his job at the school, as the president after all. A few times, trinity ran into someone who challenged her and made the best of them. It was pretty common actually. What was it with people and challenging random passing strangers. Then there was the one time that a group of six tried cornering her. That was not their smartest move and they paid dearly for the mistake with their lives. She was nearing halfway to Cabal when a heavy down pour began, forcing her to take shelter in a nearby cabin.

Oni saw the familiar face while out and about and poked her head in the cabin just after she entered.

"Trinity?" couldn't forget this kind of name the last they saw each other Trinity was looking for her Brother Spike and they went into Leon's office to find something useful. She hadn't heard anything after that fateful day. The petite horned Tiefling tucked her tail close and kept a short distance incase oni herself wasn't recognized at a first glance. As if there were too many other Tiefling/Demon/succubi/dragon or whatever else that she could be mistaken for.

Trinity turned at the sound of unmistakable footsteps behind her. Preparing to launch an attack, she crouched next to the frame but halted as she heard her name.

"Onides? Wow hi."

She removed herself from her defensive stance and stood straight before moving forward to offer her hand. If taken she would grasp the forearm.

"Well met. How are you?"

This was almost as good as a hug from her would be; albeit she was more in control of her emotions now.

Oni accepted the forearm grasp with glee. She mirrored her own in return. Of course if she hadn't, how awkward would that had been? The answer quite...

"I am well." she wore rubber boots and a rain resistant poncho with an extra large but oddly shaped hood stretched almost squared from her horns. "It has been months since we met last. Were you able to find your Brother or uncle at all?"

Trinity nodded and smiled at the teifling.

"I did. He is well and protected. Your concern and assistance was and are most welcome."

Was that a hint of sadness? Couldn't be. She was happy he was safe. Even if she couldn't be there to help him out. He was safe, wasn't that all that mattered?

"How have you been?"

[Onides Une]

"Quite, quite well honestly." she blushed a bit. "Lost some weight... Gained a bit more weilding a massive sword. The tail will always at about twenty extra pounds to my over all weight though. Still I feel like I've changed quite a bit... So much that I almost feel like changing my motivations."

Trinity Grinned at Oni. She did look rather awesome.

"You look amazing. The Gods would be jealous. Either way, I like the tail."

Trin looked out the window at the rain, as she often did, and her thoughts turned to Rai. Trinity jumped and looked to Oni.

"Wait, you just came from Cabal right?"

[Onides Une]

"Pfff... G-Gods being Jealous? Nah!" she giggled suddenly bashful and glowing more red by the second.

Then she asked her second question if which she would pat her warm cheeks with chilled wet fingers to try and cool them. "Yeah I did, was actually finishing up some shopping about to head back..." she lifted her poncho and revealed a sack of things between food, drink, and clothes. Odds and ends she needed to restock up on. "Why do you ask?"

Trinity nodded and giggled with her.

"Of course they are!"

Trininty looked over the items and nodded, her grin sliding back to a pleasant smile.

"Well, a few months ago, my cousin went back there to see Asiv. I haven't heard anything. I'm not surprised, mind you, but I was wondering if you may have run into him? Raikotsu Sudeki?"

She cought herself holding her breath and smiled sheepishly at herself. Of course Rai was fine.

[Onides Une]

Oh crap... Here we go. Poor Oni wasn't ready to be the one to grant more bad news to her. Poor Trinity trying to get her ducks in a row to come up empty in what seemed like one wild goose chace after another. Her lips pressed in a thin line and her brows centered themselves turning upward. Oni looked pensive as her hands came together, she was doing her best finding the words to tell Trinity.

"Asiv witnessed his death as Raikotsu requested to perform a heart blade ritual. The Blood Dragon's heart had faltered... It was quite recent actually. His body was just shipped back to the Blood Territory."

[Trinity Sudeki]

Trinity had looked at the floor in her sheepish feelings. She froze. NO. She heard her wrong. There had to be something else. It had to be something else. Trinity's mind replayed the testimony. No it was... Raikotsu was... No. No he couldn't be. He was... Tears welled up in her eyes as her knees gave way. Trinity began gulping in breaths trying not to sob. It didn't work.

"He can't be. He can't--"

Trin's voice broke off as sobs raked through her.

"He can't!"

She screamed.

Oni put her hands up to reach for Trinity and when she fell and screamed it was an instant reaction to go down with her and wrap arms around the woman's shoulders.

Frankly her sudden outburst startled Oni. She hardly new what to do. But she would allow her self to be cried on giving Trinity the moment ro grieve.

Trinity continued sobbing. When she was finally over the initial shock and grief, she sat back onto her heels. She was barely able to speak past the tightness in her throat.

"What happened? After her went to see Asiv. He... He wished to receive a heart blade? Who killed him?"


There was more than a touch of anger in her voice.

[Onides Une]

"To receive a Heartbade they have to reach into your heart, literally reach into your chest and grab it. Only Asiv, as far as I know, can do them." Oni decided to stand and Summon hers to allow Trinity to view it for herself. "If you are hiding parts of yourself or it falters you may very well die. Asiv warned us about this danger as many lined up to take their chances. However, we had some others who are no longer with Cabal who could bring back the recent dead. Even Mathew was one who died an agonizing death until those who would have the ability brought him back and stood on stand by for the others. Raikotsu did not have this convenience to my knowledge, Asiv no doubt would have told him the risks. Raikotsu being the apprentice of Mathew Amtrum I assume would have been certain to have succeeded. Their likeness was slightly... too much alike."


Oni: Dependent Blade - Oni's heart is filled with uncertainty and fear. Depending heavily on others to make up for what she imagines she lacks turns the Blade of her Heart into a curved broad sword requiring two hands to use. Oni's blade gains +4 Atk and +4 Def for every ally around her to a maximum of +12 Atk, +12 Def.

Trin looked up at the blade and shoved herself to her feet.

"No. I won't accept that. Someone will pay for this. If Asiv's hand stayed my cousin's heart, then Asiv shall be the one to pay for it."

Trinity took a step toward the door before stopping short to look back at Oni, a small smile playing at her lips.

"I thank whatever God was watching over you when this ritual was made for you."

If unstopped, Trinity would exit the building, into the rain, and head for Cabal and Asiv.
