Underneath the City of Long Beach, California was a labyrinth of sewers, pipes, and basements. Unfortunately it didn't have the complexity of an old world underground. This underground was planned, completely. Which left fewer pitfalls, and more order. However, the Maniac found a suitable arena for his prodigy. The letter that would have arrived at her place of residence, would have discussed the details of the location to meet him for the training. However it was all in Russian, and needed to be decoded. What was also enclosed was a map of the underground.
A blueprint. With a red circle around the vast, complex chamber that he waited in.
Valekin had no doubt that the Heir to His Will would find a way to get there. He had no doubt in her abilities, and knew she would show up on time... or at least near the time she was supposed to meet him there. Midnight.
The chamber was vast, as said before, and was more like a ziggurat than anything. The arena was a square set high above a river of sewer water. Above it were various catwalks, pipes, and chains dangling from pipes for access. Water dripped from the pipes every so often. In the space above he waited for her.
There was no railing to keep anyone from falling off the Ziggurat.
This place was well known to the Serb. As he had dragged his prey here many a time for fun. Bloody skeletons hung from the chains. And pools of sanguinary fluid were beneath them. Diluted by the humidity, and the water.
This is where the training would commence.

"Nii-sama--"
"I don't know Russian."
"Do you know anyone who--"
"Andrew knows Russian."
"...what's his number?"
...and so, that's why Mitsuki is here at a cafe, with Andrew sitting across from her, decoding everything that was written down. He was the last person on Earth she wanted to meet, because perhaps somewhere deep inside of her, she's still in love with him. He was her first love, afterall; and you know what they say about those. First love's never die. She wished that it did; not him, but the love. Things got quite...complicating.
"..I can't believe he's making you train in a sewer."
Mitsuki had said nothing so far. He got the idea when she gave him the sheet of paper with Russian words and a pencil with a different sheet of paper. Half an hour later, things were decoded, and she left after giving a thank you to him. Of course, she left quickly as possible, since she didn't want to talk to him, let alone see him.
It was eleven. She had an hour to get from here, where she was standing, to the red circle thing.
Red circle thing...pfftt...
-59 minutes and 59 seconds later....nah. Just kidding. 45 Minutes Later-...
"...I'm pretty sure this is it..."
She muttered quietly to herself, walking her step, careful not to trip. She paid no attention to the skeletons on the walls, for she already noticed them, and preferred not to look at 'em.

AMBUSH!
Yes, ambush. She carelessly walked into the arena, apparently not expecting an assault from above. He practically came down on top of her. Only to land just behind her as she walked past the landing point. What a surprise. The recoil from the landing put him in a more compact shape, and from that crouch, he let loose a sweeping kick.
To her luck, Valekin wasn't armed with anything other than his Gauntlets.
The armored things covered everything but his fingers, and his upper arm. Metal was over his arm, and the back of his hands. Even over his knuckles. If she knew her master well, she knew he was a hand oriented person, most of the time. It depended on his mood. There was the first strike. And there the battle began.

And when he lands behind her, a quiet "thud" would obviously be heard. She assumed it would be Teacher, but she never expected him to attack her. With something sweeping at her legs, she soon lost her balance and landed on her back. Already on the floor, she rolled off to the side and would create distance between them, dropping whatever items she held onto the ground.
Well...
I assume that this is the training...
Not a lot of light, but it'll have to suffice. Picking up her defenses, she waited for the next attack. Hands turning into fists momentarily, letting the gloves tighten around her hands, before letting them slightly loose if she had to catch anything that came her way.

The dash across the stone floor was quick, and splashed water onto his ankles. He lead off with a light jab right at her throat. The nature of the jab would be one that could be taken as a feign. But only the experienced would notice this. If she attempted to move out of the way of the feign, then there would be the real strike to deal with. And who knows where that would come from.
Valekin never really fought his student. It was more of a formal training session back then. This time, he will be getting a much better gauge of what she knows, how well she fights under pressure, in the dark, and without the advantage. Valekin had the home field advantage.
Valekin had the darkness advantage. The man could maneuver in the shadows as if he was one.
"적은Mistuki 와 와 의 너는 잘 할 수 있는다!"
Come come, little Mitsuki, You can do better!
Yes, it was her teacher. The man that had given her so much combat knowledge. That had unknowingly killed off gangsters that could have killed her if that fellow wanted it. Now he was the enemy. And now she knew for certain. She wouldn't have seen him yet. Not in this dreary darkness. Only the drip of the water, and the pale moonlight from a single storm drain, gave any illumination to the Ziggurat.

성생님.. 한국말아셔요...?!
Teacher..you know Korean...?!
It's hard to tell whether an attack is fake or not, especially if you're opponant is a skilled fighter. In this case, it took Mitsuki a while to realize so. Her right hand moved up towards her neck to block, knowing it would be somewhere on her upper body, but this was Teacher she was fighting. Anything was possible. She most definitely knew he favored attacking with his hands, just as he would know that she favored attacking with her feet. So, still not knowing that his attack was fake, she aimed a solid side kick towards his gut with her right foot, hoping that when she turned for a side kick, his jab would miss.
Eyes narrowed, she quickly pulled back her right leg before it would actually hit. You could say she faked her kick as well, it was just un-intentional. Right arm would outstretch to grab a hold of his wrist (the one where he would feign his jab) and pull hard with a strong force.
"これは狂気である..."
Japanese? Yes.
What'd she say?
This is crazy..."

Bad idea. Grabbing a grappler and pulling them closer to you. He let it happen, he let it happen so he could get closer. He was practically breathing down her throat now. His skull went down at her own, a head butt. He twisted his wrist around, and the motion would definately break her grip on him, for it would pit her hand against his chest and wrist. Cutting off the circulation.
In the meantime, his right leg spread, and then dropped to a knee, the left one stepped forward over her corresponding leg. His free hand punched at her stomach hard and fast. He was too close to dodge. A block would be practically futile. It would just make the landing awkward.
"Nice try."

Ugh...
The headbutt to her own head did a good amount of damage. Head spinning for a while, it took her longer than usual to pick herself up. By then, she found her grip on his wrist was lost, and a punch had landed right on her stomach. A small cry of pain because it was sudden, but other than that, she made no noise. Barely a second after the punch connected - not even waiting for herself to heal - she aimed a to knee him in the face. What? Well..considering the height difference..if he kneels, it'll probably come to her mid-chest, so if she kneed him, it'd probably be under the chin, which is just as good. Right after the knee to the face - or in her case, under the chin - she'd move back just a bit and aim a solid kick towards his upper chest.

She took a little too long. They always took a little too long. The punch connecting was a lead off into something else. He lifted her by her stomach that way, using his now free hand to grab at her shoulder, and dig into the flesh. He rose, leaving her kneeing a feeble flail. Sure, she'd be a little heavy, everyone was a little heavy. But everyone can be thrown.
He didn't throw her though.
He dropped her right in front of him, right onto the knee that he just lifted up. A back breaker. He'd be surprised at her resolve if she got up after that, depending how she landed on his knee. God forbid her pretty face landed on it, that would make a mess. Blood would be all over from her broken nose.

Aimed an elbow attack straight at his ribs as he lifted her, which would probably cause him to drop her, or something. Who knows? She wasn't about to wait though. His hands were preoccupied by keeping her in the air - or lifting her - and right after the elbow to his ribs, she'd do another one right after, in a slight attempt to crack 'em or something. He seemed to be going pretty far in this fight, and to tell the truth, Mitsuki didn't like his tactics, but it works. She was looking down, so if his knee did lift up for her to land on, hopefully she'll see it, but nothing is for sure since it was so dimly lit. Once he dropped her though - assuming he did - which she knew immediately, as his claw-like hands released her stomach - her free hand was placed in front of her torso area to land on the ground safely. Didn't happen. What happened is that her lower gut ended up hitting his knee and rolled onto the floor. As a reflex, she lashed out her legs sloppily towards his which made it hard to see where she was aiming at.
Think of these attacks as a domino effect.

Her attacks on his ribs did nothing but piss him off. The bones were solid from some reconstruction. She couldn't hurt him too badly at all. He continued to drop her onto his knee, and squash the soft organs in her abdomen with her own weight. Following which she'd roll off of his knee and onto the ground, where he'd back away, just out of reach of the leg flail. He circled around her, like some sort of predator.
"Come on Mitsuki, if you're going to fight like you are a wild animal, at least use your instincts and be in tune with your body."
Hee hee....
"Or.. is it that you aren't in tune with your body. You're just using your head. You can't win like that, you can't win just using your head."
Ha ha!
"You'll never beat me at this rate. Ever."

...in tune with my body?
Clenching and unclenching her fists repeatedly, she pondered quickly about what Teacher said while picking herself up. What did he mean by that? In tune with the body... Keeping what he said in mind, she kept an eye on Teacher as he circled her, like a tiger on a doe. Except in animal life, there's a chance where the doe could run away; Teacher was way to fast to out run, so that was impossible. But in her case, she could always fight back; she was not helpless, and she could be the tiger if she was in tune with her body... All she had to do was turn this fight around so it would be in her favor.
Her eyes remained on Teacher while he encircled her, an idea striking across her mind. Staying low to the ground, she waited for Teacher to strike.

He could feel his own pulse. His arms throbbed, all the way down to those nasty claws. He circled into the darkness. And at the speed he was going, if she was tracking him, she would have seen him come out from the darkness, still circling. But he didn't come out. He came from above. To land not but a meter and a half away from her, to her left. He dropped to a knee, and preformed a shoot and slide, to reach her crouched form. The left hand came fast, moving from left to right, in a horizontal slash to catch her right in the face.
He was upping the ante. Changing the danger level. This was a test to see how much she had learned from him. Which, considering this was their third session, wouldn't be that much if she was like every other student.
"Have you learned anything? I know you learned how to fight with a knife, and numerous fist strikes. I hope you retained those. But did you learn anything else?"
He asked, slashing with the right hand in the same manner, while drawing the left hand to the side, and pressing it close to himself, before palming it towards her. He remained poised on his toes in the crouched position. Minimalizing what she could actually do damage to.

She heard him, and she heard him well. The sound of him landing to her left was a definite surprise, and was tempted to look toward him, but she had enough self-control not to. Usually the first thing when someone lands near you - not even land fully - would be to attack, and that was her initial thought of what Teacher would do when he landed, thus avoiding his slash attacks to her face. Nevertheless, she only moved back far enough just to dodge the first slash; never was she anticipating a second one coming right after, but with Teacher, you should always expect the unexpected (which seemed a little impossible in her opinion). She tilted her head back (assuming that his right hand slash was aimed at her face like his left hand slash) barely escaping his wrath. In fact, when a sudden pain hit the right side of her face, she knew she got scratched. Whether it was a thin cut, but deep, or a wide cut that's sloppy was beyond her, because she didn't even bother wasting any time on the fact that she was...well...bleeding now.
Yes, Teacher. But if I told you, there's quite a possibility that you can use that knowledge as an advantage. You know too much about me already, Teacher...
All said mentally as she saw a flash movement aim toward her; using what reflex she had, she used her own left hand to knock his from the inside out, stepping slightly to the right as she did to avoid physical contact from that one palm. At the same time, her right foot would lift and would go pummeling toward his lower gut, quite powerfully as well. Right hand moved slightly up with her kick, as if she planned on attacking, or blocking, with that hand.

The kick came at him, but he met it with a grin. Stepping to the side just a tad, his arms had retreated, and he pinned the leg to his right side. From here, he could do so many bad things to her. Like break her leg, but that would make her useless. And he didn't want her to be such a useless prospect. After all, he was putting his time into training her. The only way she'd learn, would be through actual combat.
"Tsk Tsk Tsk."
Instead of placing his hand on top of her knee, as he would do if he was preforming the Bone Eater. He placed it just behind the inside of the knee, on the back of her thigh. Long arms were such a great thing, he was out of reach of her arms, and if she was stupid enough to attempt a roundhouse kick on his head while stuck like that, she would just wear herself down.
The grin only grew wider as his feet moved, and the left arm, holding her thigh pushed to lift. More than likely; she'd find herself in the air again, going head first towards the slippery concrete. He didn't use a lethal amount of force, and he didn't squeeze her to pierce her flesh. As she was his student.
What happened was. He moved, his right foot stepping forward, his torso twisting, then his left foot stepping around his right foot to make his right foot pivot. That was the foot work, giving the force necessary to lift her over his head by the one leg, and toss her towards the ground.
"You still have much to learn."
