[Soni Vox]

Ah, the training grounds rest stop. There weren't many, and those that were there were hard to find, but Soni remembered this location and its sounds from when she went with Rhona. 

The rest stop itself was a small metal building with an awning shading the pavilion that two vending machines stood on. Between them sat one picnic table.    

She took out her Cabal ID and scanned it into the vending machine and got her usual water. "What would you like, Jacob?" she asked kindly standing by the machine. 

Across what used to be a street (but now just a flat piece of shorter grass and asphalt pieces) there was a pile of rusted rubble, sitting in once melted (but now dry) tar, with stains from where ash once was, before it was swept up and taken far away. It was a lovely reminder of the time she spent with her golden haired friend. Her eyes would be lost in it when Jacob replied.

Jacob was trying to be quiet upon hearing someone coming his way. He wasn’t in the best shape, after he found that wild raccoon. Those things are evil little bastards. His shirt hung in rags, stained with blood, and his pants looked more like daisy dukes, ALSO stained with blood. He was attempting to escape what he was sure to be Drake, when Soni’s voice stopped him. She was nice to him even when he blatantly showed off his non-skills. He moved from the woods into the clearing.

“Hello.”

She was getting water. He tilted his head to get a better look at the water, but if she turned around it would seem as though his eyes were elsewhere.

His oddly timed greeting caught Soni's attention, and it turned to him.

"Hey what do you- CHEESES CRUST WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU!" she shouted at his... unsightly appearance. A little wind would blow by Jacob from the force of her shout.

[Jacob Tyler]

Jacob maintained his footing and held up his hands toward her, effectively helping him remain upward. He was, however, blown back into the wooded area where a raccoon nest made a wicked hissing and chittering sound. Jacob quickly ran back into the opening taking several furtive glances behind him.

“Racoons.” Was all he said.

Soni heard the raccoon chittering, and decided she would take care of the problem.

She cast a large blast that shot out behind him, the sound of a large roar with pressure and force behind it. It flew the brush back, wobbled the trees, and cast dirt and sticks into the air. The rodents ran off, quite terrified of the utterance's origin.

"Alright, now that that's taken care of, you need a drink! What do you want?"

Sonic drive: Soni creates a general wave of loud sound, though it's used more as a pressure wave than an ear-piercing sound. A force push, but with sound. Causes opponents to stumble back a bit, and ideally could interrupt an oncoming attack

Distant Call: Throw voice from Skyrim, essentially. Soni can cast her voice to originate in any point within a 20ft. radius.]

Jacob tries to look victorious and yells after them:

“YEAH YOU BETTER RUN!”

Before turning to Soni.

“Thank you. Grape drink is fine.”

Yes he actually said ‘grape drink’ Lmao

Soni got Jacob a grape drink and tossed it at him!

"So talk to me tattoo boy. Where are you from?" she asked as she found her sear on a nearby stone picnic table.

Jacob catches the drink and opens it. Downs a few gulps and responds before belching into his arm.

“257. *belch* Excuse me.”

He takes another few gulps

[Soni Vox]

"Eh...right. Where is that again?"

[Jacob Tyler]

Jacob nodded and took another sip, then wiped his mouth with the back of his hand.

“Just east of north 259.”

[Soni Vox]

"Woo! Pretty cold up there I imagine." 

Riveting conversation would pursue.

Jacob nodded and downed the last of the drink. He then held the can, insure of what to do with it. He’d still wave it around if he used his hands to speak.

“It can be, mostly during winter months.”

He winced at his impressive use of words.

“Where are you from?”

Please. Save him. Please god, save him.

[Soni Vox]

"Yea it uh.. usually is colder during winter.."

Yikes. This was rough.

"Well I was uh..." she hesitated as she thought of how to phrase it, "...born and raised, I guess you could say, in territory 86. But I've lived in 259 for the past couple years."

One awkward sip later... "What's with the tats?"

Jacob responded without thought, glad to be on a new subject.

“They help me focus my craft. I began learning witchcraft at a young age to make up for my.... disability.” He used til he term the Qi doctor had used when speaking to his mother about his lack of Qi.

[Soni Vox]

"Huh. Interesting. Do you do any other tricks aside from your fancy light shows?" she asked kindly, making the appropriate hand gestures as she talked.
