Lann, still scared regardless of what differences in power he can feel, goes to smack the man’s attacking hand away while stepping back!

Lann's hand turns into a blade, his Lord of Blade's power activating without his consent! Cutting off Subject 2's clawed arm! He yells out in pain and falls back, the crimson red cloak wrapping around him and seemingly a lot more fluid than before as it turns to a blob and lifts him away, protecting him.
"Next time you pathetic little shit! I will kill you!"
Maybe... Maybe Lann did actual intend to cut off his arm instead of slap it away. He knew his power, he knew he could turn his hand into a blade... And he still swiped at the attacking arm... How dare he try to kill Lann anyways.

What makes matters worse is Lann may realize he did this while under the Qi dampening field around Cabal's academy grounds. However the man that was with Subject 2 approaches and grabs the arm, pulling the hand free from the clawed glove. Walking over and holding it out to Lann. "I believe this Relic would recognize you as it's master now." |

That’s terrible! Lann feels sick to his stomach.
He even flinches a little when the second man approaches.
“H-he’s going to be alright... right?”
He asks hesitantly, reaching for the glove. If anything, he can hold on to it for safe keeping.

The guy smiled watching Lann take the Relic.
"I'm sure he will survive. Angrier than before, and likely less chatty the next time he comes for you. Maybe you should be ready for a fight."
The guy would put on a pair of red goggles and start to walk away.
"It was nice to meet you Lann Cantor."

With that Mister M would walk away making random movie quotes.

Nocturne Gauntlet (Relic): +6 Atk, +6 Per
The Nocturne Gauntlet was once used by the Crimson King. He specialized in exploiting weaknesses, spotting soft spots and tearing them apart. When attacking with the Nocturne Gauntlet the user adds their Perception stat to their Attack stat. Can be used 5 times per thread. Otherwise the clawed finger armor is very sharp.
