"I see. Have you not been able to obtain employment at one of Aurora's labs? Or have you been content to work on your own without oversight?"

He knew Aurora had labs and facilities. The rapid growth and development demanded it.

"I had been content to work on my own." She shrugged. "It started off really good as far as far as individual commissions went. I am not sure if that will change just yet. I have a good amount of trust with my customers. A home crafter can give that extra flare and detail that might be skipped out otherwise." true too with her own condition she might be more of a liability than anything.

"Well there is no shame in a modest operation, and you are correct that not being beheld to a higher power does grant you a certain amount of freedom. I truly wish you the best in your creative endeavors."

[Lucille "Lucky" O'Donnovan]

"It certainly does and thank you, for the kind words. It was an absolute pleasure to converse with you about it. Maybe we could one day work together and share knowledge that would better those who need it." She'd be super excited to collaborate on a project when an alliance needed to be had between territories.

"Perhaps."

He was hesitant to share military secrets within the greater 259 alliance let alone outside of it. And to a non-state actor to boot. It was something that he could not really do as things were now. But in the future depending on how things changed it was possible something could come to be.

"Do you have a name for your lab? Or business?"

[Lucille "Lucky" O'Donnovan]

"Lucky's Garage." she shrugged, it was simple and rugged as she would be certainly rough around the edges compared to this blue-blooded Chancellor. "I am honestly not that creative with names and I certainly wasn't going to name it Lucky's Charms or Tinker-toys or something weird as that."

He let out a small chuckle.

"I don't know, Lucky's Charms would fit in back where I'm from."

As a Charm shop.

"I look forward to hearing good things about this garage in the future then. I will keep my eyes open."

"Oh, certainly I am sure you honestly have about twenty of them with a name like that. It's incredibly common." She gave a half smile slightly awkward and a giggle. "Oh... yes absolutely Chancellor and I'll continue to look forward and progress with your wise words in my mind." truly could be inspirational.

"I wish you the best and hope you enjoy the rest of the festivities."

He rose his glass slightly toward her.

"To scientific progress and the advancement of all good people."

She raised her own with his toast.

"To you as well!"

she would assume he was leaving at that point to finagle with the rest of the room. Certainly couldn't hang around this humble mechanic all day.

He would clink the glasses and finish his drink before giving her another small nod of his head and moving on to mingle with some more. While not personal, she was correct that he could not sit and talk to one person all day. That was not the point of these gatherings.

She exhaled once more as he departed. She talked all too much, trying to make the impression she wanted. Usually she might have not said but as many simple yes or no's as possible. She was more of wanting to remain straight to the point instead of flourishing the truths she wanted to sell. Someone would have otherwise grown bored speaking with her if she hadn't known what she was talking about. He might have grown bored anyway knowing all the work she was accomplishing was likely already old news in Ayatlan. She hardly knew if this was actually the truth however.

She downed what was left of her glass and would grab another as she perused about the place.
