Rose panics because now she IS supposed to answer and Elias looks mad!
She looks between them but ultimately decides to answer anyway.
"I-I ummm...thought maybe I c-could learn something too..."
Sure she really wants to help push Elias forward, but she wasn't supposed to be getting left behind, either.

Leon moves his jaw to one side, disappointed int eh answer he got from Rose, but Elias answer was good enough. Moving over to Elias he folds his arms.
"Why? You want more power to take over an entire country, split dimensions to retrieve me and then cut me down. Sure, I get that, but why?"

Rose grabs at her hair nervously. She doesn't know what that look meant but it seemed bad.
But she also didn't want her answer to make Elias mad.

Leon would vanish from his spot and appear behind Rose, grabbing her by the neck and lifting her up so she is facing Elias.
"You know, if I kill her in here, since she is a guest. one of two things could happen. She goes brain dead and is nothing but a useless body in the real world, or she loses her Qi. The only thing you apparently value about her."
If Rose struggled at all Leon would squeeze as a threat.

Elias is surprised at that, and it shows in his face. Even moreso when Leon performs his disappearing act, taking ahold of Rose.
"...Don't."
He says simply. Try as he might, it sounds more like pleading than a command.
