Lucky kept face and tried to talk and be friendly as much as she could to make all the best appearance that she might possibly do. Oh how she suddenly felt exhausted and her clothes felt tighter to boot! No doubt from all the food and cake. Wholly crap there was so much cake, never in her life had she seen such a sight. She just kind of rolled out the back and into a more quiet section of the garden where she would undo a couple of buttons and loosen her waist straps, take off the shoes that rubbed her ankles and slouched at a bench exhaling the biggest breath she took and melting in her seat.

Kin, in his sundays best, would be out patrolling. It was a beautiful wedding and very happy. But there were to many outsiders here that might try something. So he had to stay on alert. As he was walking around he saw someone slip away from the party. A Deviant! Kin would follow the individual! Once he caught up to them he would rest his hands on his sword.

"You, miss, what are you up to-"

Then he would notice the state of... comfortable, she had put herself in.

"Oh, I... my apologies, miss."

She was all but TOO comfortable that when the other fellow bolted around the bushes and began to draw a sword she was startled and tried to stand before falling over her own shoes lying about the grass onto her bum.

"Yeeaaah..." She took a look of relief. "You scared me, I almost pissed myself..."

Kin had to stifle a chuckle.

"My apologies. There are a lot of people here and I just want to make sure that no one tries to ruin this monumental day... and you seemed suspicious..."

"Suspicious?" She blinked in confusion buttoning her blouse once more and tightening her waste but she decided to leave the shoes off for the moment "I suppose I was not born here and with a lot of new faces as well as neighbors you can't be too careful. The newcomer thing had to come into play somehow she supposed."

She re-adjusted herself in her seat once more sitting up a little more proper. However, a Yawn escaped her throat despite her best efforts to stop it. "I don't do too many of these, is it so obvious that I looked suspicious?" She chuckled behind a small smile. "I feel like I made such a silly fool of myself about a million times and one was to the High Chancellor of Ayatlan." her head fell back slack as she placed hands up high and over her eyes, still smiling. She'll look back at this day and think of how silly it all was.

Kin waved his hand dismissively.

"No no, it was not your fault, I should honestly relax. Its highly doubtful anyone would try to cause a diplomatic incident... but still.

"Accidents happen if you are not careful right?" Asking if that was the logic he had in mind and totally understanding why he thinks this way giving himself a confirming nod. It was perfectly logical.

Kin would smile and nod.

"Precisely. Rather be safe than sorry."

Sage nod.

She opened one eye and raised her head a little. "I can respect someone who knows how to work hard. Do you want a small break? You are welcome to sit if you'd like. The shoes required for occasions like this have a devil in each of them."

Kin smiled and accepted the seat.

"No devil's in mine... only ghosts."

He would look up to the sky, watching the clouds.

"These clothes belonged to my father. He is gone now. So, I figured if I wear this to the ceremony... Then he too, could be at the wedding of the King he respected most on life."

"That is lovely..." She looked at her own wicked bear traps. "I'll trade ya." She joked but waved it off immediately with a chuckle and a dismissing hand.

"I joke... but, Truly that is a lovely sentiment and you have my condolences." She nodded. "I know very well the feeling of losing your parents too soon."

Kin would chuckle at her joke unoffended.

"Then, I too, wish to give my condolences."

"Yes... With that." she grinned at him. "What is your story?"

Kin looked away from the clouds and to the woman.

"Ah, my name is Kin Hachirobei of Aurora. I'm a trained swordsman, I learned my craft from my father. We trained day and night for years after the persecution and exile of my mother. During the war for revolution my father and I fought side by side to help the nee King claim his rightful spot in the throne... unfortunately in that battle my father met the man whose blade had my fathers name on it."

"So he died in the heat of battle then." she nodded. "I hear that is a death most welcome like an old friend?"
