The Frost King would match steel with Blake, impressed with his speed, but unsure of how to take the strength put behind it. The Frost King saw none of the tell tale signs of Blake's ability to mutate or really using any of his equipment or other abilities. The Frost King saw no reason to either. He would follow the dance of the swords and retaliate with a slash of his own!

Blake reached out to grab the blade with his other hand, crystals forming along his hand to protect him from harm as his right arm bulged and mutated, bringing the sword back to slash at the King while his blade was hopefully trapped.

Living Crystal embodies these gloves and can sense danger on their own, rapidly expanding into jagged crystals to act as a shield, covering the arm and expanding where needed with the Def of 3/4ths his energy. Automatically used when needed 3 times per thread should an attack not be blocked, deflected, or dodged. (energy)

With his blade trapped he removes one hand from the hilt and forms a knife hand with it, ice covering the hand he blocks the swing stopping it dead in it's tracks strength for strength before launching a kick and yanking his sword back. The kick was just to push Blake away, though it obviously had power behind it.

Blake was pushed back, sheathing his blade he prepared himself for the pain that was about to come. His body began to grow as his sides bulged out, arms shooting out of his body along with a tail with a wicked bone blade attached to it. Launching the blades from the sheath he would leap forward, flames erupting from his steps as he jumped not once, not twice, but three times in the air, gaining height before plummeting down with a spin to bring his swords to bear against the king, his bladed tail slashing out when Blake spun.

Monsterous size - Blake grows to be fifteen feet in height as the monster within is unleashed. The unleashing of the beast sends a surge of energy through Blake's body giving him an additional 5 Qi uses in that thread
Extra limbs - Through a painful growth of muscle and tissue, two arms sprout of out Blake's body fully formed and ready for use. Due to the cramped nature of his configuration, these arms can only operate at half efficiency (1/2 Blake's current attack) unless Blake is under the use of Growth where they become fully functional.
Zero Ability: Drawing on the surrounding energy, Bailey Blake can now apply 1/2 of his energy level towards a target's chosen stat. At this stage, his buffs only last for one post (energy)
Bladed tail: Blake sprouts a tail with a blade made of bone on the end of it to attack people from his flank and rear. Blake add's his attack score to his attack score for this strike
Guardian Oath: +5 Atk, +5 Def

The Frost King now witnessing Blake's mutation powers brings his sword to bare with both hands taking in a calm breath as he grows and leaps into the air, the floor beginning to ice over as his body became still completely. Frost exuding from his mouth almost covering the floor as Blake plummets downward. The Frost King slashes upwards as a large wave of Ice shoots from the floor to cover him. Blake's slashes break through the wall, clash with his blade, however his speed is tremendous. able to deflect all four swords. However the tail slash strikes him in the chest, even with the Ice barrier that sprung up he is smashed into the floor boards ripping them up as he tumbles away. Coming to a stop he gets up, a shallow cut starting at the left side of his chin and going down his chest slightly diagonal. "Then it is time to stop testing the waters." RAID BOSS BATTLE The Frost King Atk: 500 Def: 500? Spd: 500 Per: 500 Eng: 500 His cloth would change slightly as his jacket formed a hood and a crown of ice. The Frost King would slash his blade from where he was as three slashes of energy would rush along the floor boards, destroying them as they went, changing direction like slithering snakes, they were however going right for Blake! (Dmg: 500) |

"Where is the Crystal?" He called out to Virgil as the King fell and smashed away from him. Bringing his blades up as the King righted himself, activating his own abilities. Now the fight began for real. And from the speed that the King was able to deflect his attacks, it was apparent to Blake that he was facing a man that was far beyond his own capabilities. "You know a lot about me Ice King. Did you know that I fight with the power of my land? My curse." He smirked. "There is a difference between me and Valto. Even if we use a similar power." When the energy slashes rushed at him Blake rushed forward toward them, leaping into the air once more as wings exploded out of his back, bones shooting out of his hips as his flesh hardened to try and protect him. The crystals moving reactively to protect him as best as they could from the powerful attacks. Because he made no move to dodge them or to block. He was the arrow, loosed from the heart of his people and he would strike true, even against the mightiest blizzard. Leaping into the air three times once more, this time the Wings would flap to boost his speed as he dove toward the King, his blades and tail coming to bear against him once more. Green mist seething from Blake's lips with every breath as he released a toxic cloud. The Crystals did what they could to protect him, but they could not withstand everything and would shatter, the Hellfire from his ring erupting toward the King unrelentingly. Qi use 32/45

Wings: Through a painful restructuring and rapid growth of his bone structure and muscle structure wings sprout from Blake's back. It adds f his energy stat to his speed stat. This also allows him to fly at the same speed as his energy stat.
Bone Armor - Through a painful restructure of his cell's in creating a sub dermal armor. His muscles seem to tense into stone, shifting around and between each other like scales just under the skin. Sprouting like a battle skirt from his waist completes the changes increasing his Defense by 65% his energy stat.
Well fitted Shoes - +5 Speed addon Storm's Buffer (+5 Defense) - Blake is able to, when taking a blow, absorb 1/4 the total attack of the blow that hits him and stack it on top of his own for up to four posts. This may be used once per thread.
Royal Sigil Ring (ADD-ON) - The commemorative ring marks you as a participant in the first royal ceremony of Aurora. A historic event surely not to be matched easily in times to come. This grants you new RP status among NPC's and QC's. Once per thread you may rub the sigil its self and increase the output of any one ability from Qi or Item's by 1/4th, or +16. You may target someone else with this, or yourself. (Storm Buffer)
The corrupted ring of an Arc Angel seethes with the might of a Fallen Deity. Giving Blake access to a Corrupt Protection ability. Blake creates a barrier of Light around himself. Instead of protecting him every time he takes damage, the barrier explodes in the direction of the attack with 'Hellfire' doing Blake's 150% Def in dmg. Can be used three times per thread.

The Zweihander originally responded to being held with one hand and slicing through any non-Qi based object as if it were not even there, adding +18 to the wielders ATK.
Now it reacts to being held with two hands generating a shield wall from it's blade five feet in both directions creating a shield 125% of the users Energy.
Cursed Blade - +12 attack + 5 Defense and Four times per thread a landed blow with this blade will fester as it's dark energy continues to sear the wound dealing 3/4th of the attack's damage again for four consecutive posts per use.
Death Gaze (Blade) - +6 Speed Ignores 10% target's defense, Marks target upon a successful hit, up to three marks can be held at once. Each mark can be spent to cause a lightning bolt to fire from the sky at the target for 25 attack (can stack up to three)
Scorpion Stinger Blade: +7 Atk
This weapon does "Poison Damage" of 25% the users Energy stat following the post of a landed hit

Virgil would immediately know where the Crystal was. His eyes looked down at the floor, but he knew it would be more than that, he knew the path, how to get there. He tapped Quinn and told him to watch. Virgil didn't respond to Blake he simply started making his way along the edge of the room to a stairway.
Frost King would move quickly within the mist sliding along the floor as well before suddenly halting out of the way of these explosions rebounding off Blake. His ice reacting to protect him automatically from what he couldn't avoid.
"Do tell!"
Frost King's eyes would widen as the green mist spewed forth, darting around at this unknown he was somewhat distracted with concern over it and when it infected him he knew why. He knew however he needed to focus on Blake, as parts of his Cloth had been destroyed from the hellfire explosions and were slowly regenerating he brought his blade to bare against Blake once more, this time with a yell as his body became caged in ice. Blake's attacks would clash with the cage, and it would shatter after the second blade struck it. Frost King was fast enough to deflect the third, but the fourth struck him in the left arm, giving him a decent gash which smeared blood on the blue ice of the floor. The tail once again striking him, as the ice of his jacket cloth formed to protect what it could destroying it completely as he was thrown once more, another cut forming this time bleeding a little better than the last one, the tail having wrapped his right shoulder and come down his front, The Frost King created a trench with his body before the momentum wasn't enough to keep him digging into the floor and it flung him up into a three foot thick wood pillar which shattered on impact. The Frost King would hit a far wall and then the floor.
"Shatter and Scream!"
He stabbed the sword into the ice on the floor and all the shattered pieces of the ice cage around Blake would shoot spikes of ice at Blake!

Blake was not fast enough to dodge the spikes erupting from the cage that surrounded him, by the time he knew what was going on it was too late, the spikes pierced his body, his limbs, and chest. Blood flowing and splattering with each impact as his body was subjected to the punishment of the Frost King. He could feel the blood loss quickly from the sheer amount of spikes impaling him. Crimson leaked from the corner of his mouth, three of his four swords stabbed into the ground as Blake fought to keep standing and support his weight. His body trying to regenerate but being overwhelmed by how much trauma there was to heal.
But Blake would not scream. His life was pain, this was no different and nothing special. With a quivering breath, his kept his head up in defiance to meet the other King's gaze. His voice softer as he grew weaker, but lacking in none of the steel that it held before. Blake was prepared to die fighting, the arrow did not question whether or not it would return. Even as that fact broke his heart knowing that he would never get to hold his children, to see his wife, or to be buried in his home. He would die a stranger in an unknown land, but he would make every drop of his blood cost those that would stand against him dearly.
"I was chosen by the land."
With his right arm, quickly shrinking back to its human form Blake slashed at the King from within his prison. His pain channeling itself into the blade, erupting with a wave of energy to slice through the ice and toward the King.

Sword of the Martyr (+2 Atk, +2 Def) - This sword is wickedly curved, like a scimitar. It's handle is a navy blue, and when ones need is great enough, it might just answer the call....
Unlcoked Ability: Ali can challenge all of the damage she has sustained up until this point into a wave emitted from a sword slash once per thread. (Un-upgradeable)
Wave Damage 4,155 (Fester Damage over the next 4 posts if it hits 3,116)

Virgil would look at Quinn.
"I need you to ask me what my Qi is."
"What?"
"Ask me."
Quinn is extra puzzled, but-
The Frost King activates his Full Equip and create a new cage around himself the Cloth regenerating fully as it ate the brunt of the force of the damage, his cage shattering meeting the Frost King's own blade beams head on, before once again his jacket was destroyed and a new cut appeared on his chest. The blood leaking down his front staining his white pants almost down to shins as he stood and watched Blake.
"Of that I have no doubts..."

Virgils eyes flash over like glass for a moment and a grin crosses his lips... He just has to wait.

The Frost King charges forward his sword sheathed once more as his bloody arm holds it in place, his right hand gripping the handle once more as he prepares a drawing slash.
Virgil yells out.
"Switch!"

Blake stumbled forward toward the Frost King with his own blades, blood trailing behind him, fully human with the exception of the extra arms as his body was reaching the limits of what it could take, it's energy focused on regenerating what it could to keep him alive. He didn't know what Virgil had planned, but he trusted Virgil as much as he trusted himself. He would switch places with Virgil and trust in him. Virgil always knew something Blake didn't.

Virgil would pop up where Blake had been and the Frost King had begun to draw his blade, in an instant a form of Virgil would pop up, except the real Virgil had been spit out of this form as if propelled away from it, he went low and as the Frost King's blade sliced through the copy Virgil made, Virgil's body became covered in a blue aura and his eyes turned red as he sliced at The Frost King's exposed stomach under his attack. It didn't cut deep, but a new cut was formed and The Frost King was hurled away again. Quinn would grab Blake and take off down the stairs with him. "The lad said follow the stairs, turn left, right, right. Through the big doors is the Crystal. He won't be buying us much time!" Virgil would spew blood from his mouth as the damage of his copy returned to him. Dropping to a knee Virgil would breath heavy, sticking the point of the Qi blade into the ground to stay from falling completely down. The Frost King would get up from Virgil's surprise attack. "That was truly something else..." Virgil would push up with a heavy groan as he got to a standing position again. Another white copy would pop out also holding a sword, and they both would say in unearthly unison. "This is only the beginning of my story!" - Quinn and Blake would feel the building shake as they reached the door! Blake would feel another rumble. "Now!" The beast within would say with urgency. "Release me!" |
