Before Cael would leave them for the first time, they still had something they needed to do.
That was attempt to let Lann get all those bunched up feelings out.
It had been a little while so she assumed he had recovered from Cael's news now and would be able to concentrate.
Maybe.
Either way Faye sets up a meeting with them outside, where they could hopefully find some objects for Lann to focus all that inner rage on.

Lann making it rain wasn't all that surprising, though she feels like it usually happened more when he was in distress.
Well more distress than usual.

It's almost like he doesn't hear Faye, as he's basically mumbling to himself. Then, his eyes open.

He attacks the rock again, this time harder than before, puncturing it with his fingers!
