[Sessha]

"Ah. Of all this you were not born with." she says, tilting her head in thought.

"Your parents they are not like you?"

[Onides Une]

Oni shook her head. "Mom and Dad are the most human looking beings you can get." She pulled out her PT and would show Sessha of a family photo that would have taken place about eight years ago Oni looking about as peachy and freckled as her father as she and he wore their biggest and goofiest smiles and a platinum blonde-haired pale mother that was quite beautiful but otherwise normal even with an icy blue gaze.

[Sessha]

Sessha would lean in to look as best she could without disturbing the medical staff, looking surprised at the difference! Mostly Oni's! That was quite a change, and all through the development of Qi it seemed. Amazing!

"I like the family." she says first, giving Oni's parents another look over and doing what she could to match some of their qualities to Oni herself.

"I see much father with you. So silly!"

[Onides Une]

"Yeah he had always been so carefree and I enjoyed nights with him playing games and stories." she would put away her PT after having taken a longer look at the picture herself. "Back in the early Qi days it was common for many to develop their Qi after some high stress or life changing impact. It is my hypothesis that I might have actually fallen with an incredible illness and nearly died, activating my body to spark a Qi, that also means I could technically be behind on the genetic evolution tree."

[Sessha]

"Behind? Why this?"

[Onides Une]

"I am not sure, but it is quite common hence why we have non-qi users in the general populace. Which is still becoming less and less common and yet still is quite a common thing. It could be likely that my family... namely my Father's side... who, to my understanding, are mostly Normies had met with my Mother's genetics and jumped my genetics to start catching up. A lot of science really... I don't even know if that is really what explains my late change. For all I know I could have been drugged, blessed, cursed, or altered without my knowing. As shocking as that would be I find the truth of that being an option in our world happens pretty commonly as well."

[Sessha]

"Hmmm."

She takes a moment to think about it. It had been a thing she'd wondered about, herself. The only difference here was that as far as she remembered, she looked the way she did. Be that as it may, any number of things could have caused it.

"Oni. Did you try to find why this became? Do you want to find out?"

[Onides Une]

"We can most certainly ask the specialists here at Cabal or if you might have another idea I am all ears to hear it?" She saw the quisitive and how Oni might have struck the right note for Sessha. "I was going to ask you the same question as well, were you born like this and what was it like for you growing up?" If Oni heard a similar tale from Sessha maybe there was something more here.

[Sessha]

"It is...hard to say? Of memory, I am always like this. Maybe there was scary moment when I was baby? But maybe no. I always think it is something with the Qi power, but I do not have real mother and real father to ask or to compare."

She gives an apologetic smile.

"If Cabal can help with the mystery, maybe we should do this? I am happy, but it is nice to know these things. Do you think so?"

[Onides Une]

"It has always piqued my curiosity and I am pretty sure my Dad likely would have told me a censored version of my condition and medical papers I hadn't really thought to question it. I am in!" She smiled at Sessha at the thought of it and what it might lead into.

[Sessha]

"I am excite!" Sessha says, ending up kicking her legs a bit and wincing.

The medic gives her an annoyed look.

Her bad.

"Who can do the helping with this?"

[Onides Une]

Oni gave it a fair bit of thought while she tried to think of someone who might be able to try at Cabal she wasn't entirely certain this could be accomplished. However, she knew Cabal's personal experts on Qi and it would be their leading researchers on Mana.

"We can try someone in T-260 if you want to make a trip a bit further north?"

[Sessha]

"Trip? I am happy to travel and see this place." she nods.

It was worth the effort, and she admittedly didn't get to travel much until recently. Seeing another territory so soon would be delightful.

[Onides Une]

"Certainly when you feel more comfortable walking, we'll make a day of it." she chuckled

[Sessha]

She laughs a bit and nods.

"I will be swiftly with the healing. I take maybe...a few days?"

By then those burns would be gone, right? With healing abilities, anyway.
