Knock Knock (Speed Event)

With all the breakthroughs near the border, Cabal suddenly finds a nearby town is under attack! Even as its agents make it to the scene, the buildings are already on fire, and there's shirtless tanned people dancing in the streets.

The regular inhabitants are nowhere to be found.

[Krane Asiv]

Krane rolls up in a Cabal jeep, wearing his new armor and rank. He likely brought people with him, but that depends on who wants to say they were in his jeep. He proceeds and keeps his eyes and ears open for anything that could be an issue. He'd turn to whoever else came along.

"See what can be done about the fires."

[Drake]

Drake would show up in a different vehicle than Krane (he don't travel with hoity toities). Looking around he would see the people dancing in the streets.

"Oi! Don't you think you should be getting out of here and not dancing in the streets?"

He would call out making his way to the peeps.

[Sessha]

Sessha's a people in that jeep!

Her first real mission, woohoo!

It's pretty exciting, there's shirtless dancing people, fire, and everyone else has run away!

At the mention of dealing with the fires, Sessha gives a bit of a salute with her hand and hops out, looking for any source of water. She's not really built to deal with fire so this is the best she can think of!

[Caelan Xander]

Cael was there and when he saw the people from before he would glower at them. He would make for the group of shirtless people!

[Allison Kazim]

Ali in one of the people in the jeep! With Krane's order, she looks to help Sessha find a source of water, but if there isn't one close by, she'd start approaching the burning buildings, instead.

Because if she doesn't focus on that, she's probably going to hit one of the dancers.

There's a lake that the town is situated next to, with a small river leading farther away.

The dancing people are unconcerned with the newcomers, though one guy turns to look at Drake when he talks.

"Hey, you're not-"

He's cut off by the cheering as they recognize Cael from before! One man looks puzzled, and he looks to the side as a smiling man steps out from one of the burning buildings holding a villager by the neck. His smile just grows at seeing Cabal's agents.

[Drake]

Drake would nod to the big man. If this were to turn into a fight Cael was someone he wanted on his side. He recalled the time Cael took his attack like it was nothing... but that was all taken away at the sudden appearance of the smiling man holding a villager by the neck. Drake would go on a defensive stance.

"Who the hell are you? What's going on here?!"

[Sessha]

Sessha heads for the lake, then looks at Ali.

"Do you have the way to make this go there?" she asks, pointing from the water to the buildings on fire. If neither of them could do it, it would turn out to be a tricky process.

But they'd figure it out!

[Caelan Xander]

Cael couldn't worry about the fires when the people were in dire need. This was a personal failure of his. Ignoring the cheering he'd storm over to the smiling man.

"Fight me. Leave them alone."

[Krane Asiv]

Krane doesn't mind Cael doing his own thing, he seems to know this situation, it was the other kid. Trying to play the hero. That could get him killed if her isn't careful. Krane decides to approach the buildings to see if he can see inside.

[Allison Kazim]

"I might." It would probably be a tricky process, but Ali had ideas, especially with a lake and river being right within range.

"We're going to need buckets, barrels, anything kind of container that's going to hold it." The crimson halo formed over her head as the blades of her wings launched into the air, aiming to cut through the flames of the closest building with the ice element as she spoke.

She looks over the area for the biggest ones she can find that don't look like they're going to break apart at the first use!

Sessha and Ali both see some buckets near the river, and Ali’s ice does a great job saving the first building.

Krane looks inside one building and spots a woman kneeling down inside one, her eyes closed in prayer. There’s several villagers that are tied to the supports and walls inside the building, one of the many that are on fire.

The Smiling Man’s smile grows wider and wider, especially upon seeing Cael. Drake is ruthlessly ignored, for the moment!

The man who looked puzzled before looks at the Smiling Man, then at Cael, then chuckles.

“So that’s the one that beat you, Koh’to? No wonder you’re so excited.”

[Caelan Xander]

Cael turned to look at the speaker.

"You lead these men? What will it take to make you stop?"

[Drake]

Drake didn't like being ignored. But for now he wouldn't do anything except continue to walk towards the one that was holding a villager by the throat.
