The Fall that Started it All

It starts as an odd sound coming from the sky that would warrant looking up. Some sort of strange moaning coming from the sky like a rumble. That's when the clouds seem to morph into a very large structure looking like a meteor. It wouldn't be until it was almost striking the ground that the rest of it broke the cloud coverage and became visible.
the large city complete with it's own forest would slam into Territory 71. Crushing it entirely, walls, people. The earth would be cracked as huge fissures opened up from the impact as the city planted its self in it's new home. The continent would seem to shake from the intrusion. Some of the city's wall was damaged from the fall, but it seemed intact.

Elias turns to look into the distance. While he can't... quite see it from where he is, he can feel the impact.

"...Hm."

What the hell was that?

[Cain Rhamos]

Lann is happily on his way back towards his home territory, eager to tell his family about his decision to head out into the world with Cael and Faye to do good.

They'd be proud of him, he can feel it.

Yet, even from this distance, he can see the massive object dropping downwards. Lann's eyes widen, and he starts running towards it, even though he's far.... far too far away.

The rumbling of the destruction coincides with the breaking of Lann's heart. He drops to his knees, tears falling down his cheeks, before curling up into a ball.

Lann's soul unknowingly grabs hold of a way to run from the feelings. He has absorbed John Summer's Qi to fill one of the holes in his soul... However, Lann has also taken memories of growing up a loner, growing up an outcast. Never being expected to succeed or make anything of himself. He has also taken on aspects of John's personality as an empathic mmimicry effect.

Katsu watches the object fall impassively, hand resting on his sword handle.

Maybe this would teach those invaders just who it was they had picked a fight with.

Val cries out, falling out of his bed.

"...I have to stop drinking on weekdays..."

Drake would feel the rumbling and head outside to see what was happening. What he saw was a bunch of other Sudeki all looking as well. He would make his way to one of the watch towers and use binoculars in the direction the watchman pointed.

"What the fuck is that..."

Daniel stares at the castle falling, a frown forming on his face.

"...interesting."

It was an interesting tactic. Maybe Prota would have to replicate it on another territory.

[Kin Hachirobei]

Kin would watch as the castle fell. A smile on his face as he turned back to the others in 63.

"Our King did it! He has brought done the evil of that castle!"

The crowds would cheer and shout and Praise their Great Kings Name!

[Bailey Oleander]

hands gripping the balcony, Bailey watched from the balcony as the sky ruptured and something hurled itself towards the ground. Soon, it was clear that that something was a castle. Her right hand gripped the fabric of her shirt over her heart, breath in her throat as a line of fire streaked through the sky and the earth shook with the change that had happened.

She knew it would, but it was so soon. She felt a mix of dread, relief, and worry. Dread over what this meant, relief that it was done, and pride for Blake.  Not to mention the worry over the future.  This had gone way faster than she'd thought, and wherever the castle landed, there would be people in need.

And an even bigger target on Aurora.

They would need to be ready.

Donovan would still be in his hospital bed when the feeling of an earthquake threatened to shake him out of his bed and onto the hospital's floor! His eyes would fling open as he looked out the window to behold a frightening sight.

It was the commotion outside that drew her attention. Celia looked up from the letters in her hand, her messenger's outstretched for them to hand them off. Preparation for infighting. Requests for help. Letters home. All forgotten at the sight of fire in the sky, streaking towards the land to the east. Heart in her throat, she rushed to the window, wide-eyed as a hand covered her mouth to muffle her sound of horror.

She knew exactly where it landed. Just outside of Zekunft territory. Just outside of her own. She had no idea how damaged it would be, what her family would need. Now, how much this crimson land would get for the request for aid.

Was her mother alright? Her sister? What about her home itself? She swayed on her feet, oblivious until she felt herself slump into the glass before falling into a heap of fabric on the ground and the world went dark.

It was a guard's face she woke to, gratefully accepting the hand held to her as she stumbled towards the desk, fumbled blindly for paper and pen, her normally perfect penmanship written at a slight angle with a shaky hand.

"Take this with you when you go to New Carolina." Her voice trembled as she pressed a seal into the paper. "Don't come back without a response."

It was not like a simple boom and done it was like a mountain exploded and felt like the earth would split from the inside out. Her whole place shook and she fell not able to make any amount of coherent direction. Simply she just laid there trying to cover her head with her hands. When it finally stopped she was not sure what to think but she would check on her child to make sure all was well and would sit next to him and would wonder and await the news to tell her what was going down. She feared the worst and imagined that only war and death was going to become of it.

Her eyes flew widely and her hands went to her self of things that threatened to fall off while she would be in her room.

Making it to a window she looked to the distance while grabbing her PT. She reached out to her public news forums and informational pages... Someone was bound to know what happened and she was. A short few taps away from finding the truth.

While everyone rested in the castle when it shook she grabbed a couple of children and shielded them many of the others did the same or similar to those they were close to. It was common practice to these war bound people.

Once it was over which felt like forever. She made her checks and rounds to see if they were under attack the whole castle went into a tizzy until every one came back with nothing to report only then would she calm down. It was beyond their borders from the looks of it, still she would send scouts to investigate and determine if it would come in their direction. She would not expect word from them for a few days.

"Yeow! Yess! YESS!! Long live the king!" she whooped and tossed the tool in her hand it slammed the ground with a jubilant clatter and her feet started to dance as she was excited for this victory. She lost her home before... She wasn't looking forward to loosing this one to some one with so much hot air his continent was floating with him.
