Child's Play (Speed event)

[Cecelia Riddel]

Celia...doesn't do weapons. But she doesn't want to be alone, either! She's still suspicious of Alice, but at this point, it's out of her hands until something else happens.

She follows in the middle of the group, watching where they go and any other holes int eh ceiling that they could be pounced on from.

[Lucifer]

The mouse would squeak and sniff at the air, looking at Alice as she leads the group to the next room.

The next room would be filled with stuffed animals. Bears and lions and other exotic beasts decorated the room, as did dozens of weapons. Elephant rifles and blunderbuss, swords, spears, halberds, and tridents. Whips and nets. Even a bear trap!

Alice was still all huffy.

"Help yourself, Daddy won't mind if it's to stop the evil mean Gackle!"

The Gackle would watch Jericho as it whimpered in pain from it's wound, still licking it. 

[Sessha]

Sessha squeaks excitedly, running over to the nicest halberd she could see and grabbing it.

Then swinging it at a stuffed animal as practice.

"Hyah!!"

[Dime Price]

Dime Bolted after the Gackle upon hearing the cry for aid. She would assume "Save him" meant save Jericho and that was what she aimed to do. Though it escaped too far from her reach and she screeched to a halt.

"Damn it!" She would head back and see what the others might be able to do and muttering loudly. "Raikotsu please look after us all and aid us in our time of need..." a prayer she might have said out of old habits or desperation.

Daddy?

"Who's your father?" Celia just does not want to do the thing. At all. Hesitantly, she picks out a net, holding it carefully but probably not the way she should.

[Gunslinger]

Oh.

Oh ho ho ho.

Daniel goes and gently touches an elephant rifle, almost mournfully as he realizes it's far too big for his child body.

He goes to take the smallest gun he can find and ensures it's loaded.

[Jericho]

Jericho would continue, examining the room for anything significant, useful or telling.

[Drake]

Drake would attempt to stop anyone from grabbing a weapon.

"Alice, will you please answer your guest? A good hostess never makes their guests wait."

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would look for a sword, a net, and a spear. The damn rat wasn't being helpful.

So instead he would use his command of the Qi beast through his will to see if he can get the rat to steal a anything they can use to get out of here from Alice.

"Hmmm.... Daddy..."

Spike doesn't like the sound of that however he would hold the Net and Spear at the ready. However he would make sure to try and keep only a few feet from Alice.

~I can't keep this up much longer, I need answers and a way out.~

Left Eye: can manipulate or otherwise control Qi beasts. Qi beast has stats equal to Spike's Energy stat.

[Lucifer]

Jericho would see he wasn't stuck in a room, but he was inside of the walls. Gears would turn and crank, and he could hear the shuffling of rooms from where he sat. There seemed to be little of use in his immediate area except for the dead and partially eaten bodies of several rats.

The rat chittered at Spike again, it's beady eyes turning toward Alice who was still pouting. Spike would be able to find all of those things!

Cecilia partially tangles herself in the net!

Daniel sees the rifle is the smallest gun! But it's loaded!

"How many times do I have to tell you!? It's a monster and it tried to kill me! It's taken your friend, why are you being so mean to me? I'm trying to help you!"

Her eyes started to water and her lip quiver as she pleads her case, a mixture of desperation and frustration tinging her voice. 

[Gunslinger]

Daniel goes to take the gun anyway.

This goddamn kid can't tell him what to do.

[Jericho]

A large part of analysis was experimentation.

Jericho would pick up a dead rat body and toss it into one of the gears. Expecting nothing more than a crushed carcass, he also examines the gears themselves for any size of weakness or potential for interaction. His clanging on the metal persists, however.

Celia attempts to de-tangle herself and hopefully not fall over in the process as she gives Drake a pleading look along the lines of "please stop talking."

Someone please save her.

"Now now, I'm sure he just wants to know what to expect with the Gackle. It hurt you, Alice. We all want to be safe." Still trying to figure this net out.

"Does your father know the Gackle hurt you?"

[Dime Price]

"That Monster spoke to me is was desperate for me to save him." Dime would go to the bludgeoning weapons and pick up a rather menacing looking bat. She heard the rats and tried to connect with them the same as she had the Gackle... Would she check the girl yet? Not sure that was safe. Entering the wrong minds at the wrong time could be dangerous.

Telepathic communications: while looking at one person she can send a mental note heard by that person only. She connects their Qi to communicate. The connection can be one way but should the other party allow it they can complete the connection to trade messages back and forth.

[Sessha]

Sessha decapitates another stuffed animal before being content with the weapon she picked.

"Okay? Where we go?"

It went up in the ceiling so Sessha uses the range from her halberd to just...go right ahead and damage the ceiling. That's obviously where they are going.
