Child's Play (Speed event)

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would stare at the rat before looking at Alice as well. He would get between Drake and Alice.

"Sorry, my friend here isn't very attentive, you have to repeat things quite often for him. We are just really lost and scared. How do we... See more of this place? We'd really enjoy the tour."

Spike would grip the net rather tightly, he didn't need to hunt the Gackle right now, that kid was probably dead by now, best to get the ones still alive out of here.

He tries to calm himself by going over to Cecilia and helping her get out of her net.

[Drake]

Drake was taken off guard by Dime's words.

"What did you just-"

Then Alice's response. Drake scowled.

"I'm just trying to learn everything about that thing. It didn't take a friend it took someone I've never met. Like everyone else here. I don't know who you, or any of these other people are. All I know is that I can't see your soul or that creatures soul. Everyone else here is real. Only you and it aren't. So, what. Are. You?"

He would say as he reached out to grab the closest weapon.

[Lucifer]

Alice would shrink away from Drake to try and hide behind Daniel since he was threatening her!

The questions otherwise remained unanswered as he rounded on her!

Sessha is poking at the ceiling and is able to lift up a hatch that's high up, but there!

The rats either do not or can not answer Dime!

Jericho would see the gears slow as the rat body hit it, but when it was crushed they would resume to normal speed!

Drake grabs flail! 

[Gunslinger]

Daniel loads his gun dramatically, letting the girl hide behind him.

"Alright. Let's go shoot something."

[Sessha]

"Oh! A secret?"

If she can hook part of her halberd against the hatch, she'll try to climb the pole to get to it.

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would turn and launch his net on or around Drake and snag him before he can get a weapon.

"Shut. The. Fuck. Up."

Sage would say through clenched teeth.

"You really don't want to commit treason here."

[Cecelia Riddel]

"Thanks." Celia gives Spike a sheepish smile and, since he's the only other one that grabbed a net, tries to mirror how he has it held/stored on him!

With Alice shut down and not interested in conversation, she clears her throat and looks at their hostess.

"Where do we go to hunt the Gackle, Alice?" Small movements. Soft gestures. Be friends.

[Jericho]

Jericho would yell out Dime's name as loud as he could, just to see if he was met with any sort of response. He kept a close watch on the gackle, his blade at the ready, anticipating a negative response at his call.

[Dime Price]

Dead end there...

Dime thought it was the girls turn to be searched now, however first she would rush to the girl's side. Dime would give her best big sister smile.

"This is a big weird dream an nothing is what it seems, like... everything is what it isn't and everything isn't what it is... am I right?" It will be okay  She would grab the girls hand and look to see what went on in the child's mind right then hoping that it might calm her down and help her to think a bit giving Dime a bit more in what short moment she might have. 

Did she hear something?

[Drake]

Drake would be caught in the net but would turn to Spike unphased.

"Fine. Get everyone here killed because you're too scared to find out who, or what, the real monster is in this situation."

[Lucifer]

The Gackle continued to watch Jericho as it licked it's wound but with the bleeding finally over it would twist and start to head away from Jericho, crawling through the gears quickly before vanishing from sight.

Alice would recoil from Dime to keep hiding behind Daniel!

Sessha would make it halfway up before the polearm fell out of the hatch and both her and the weapon dropped to the ground!

[Gunslinger]

Daniel sighs.

"Alright. Stop scaring the kid, and let her show us where the monster is."

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would chuckle a bit.

"Don't worry kid. You just need to loosen up a bit. Go with a flow a bit more. You catch more bee's with honey... Or some shit like that."

His face would get a bit more serious.

"Besides, this is likely just the beginning. More of us will die before this is over. You can't save everyone. You should learn how to talk to a lady."

[Jericho]

Jericho examines the room for way of escape now that he would not potentially be interrupted. But his guard remains up, with the occasional glance to the area through which the gackle crawled.

[Cecelia Riddel]

"That's ENOUGH!" Celia stamps her foot down as Dime grabs at Alice, who is terrified enough to keep quiet.

"Dime, you will stop harassing our hostess immediately." She huffed and smoothed her nightgown down, cheeks flushing with anger and embarrassment. "She is being kind enough to let us have weapons to save Jericho and make sure we can all stay safe."

She would try, once again, to address Alice through the wall that is Daniel and his gun.

"Alice, I'm terribly sorry for their rudeness. May we please continue?"
