Samson would turn to leave and stop.
"Which way is north again?"
Paul would point Samson in the right direction.
"Ah, thank you lad. Well, till next we meet!"
Samson would say as he started off back towards his home. His heavy footed steps cracking the ground as he walked. The vibrations intense enough that even Paul could feel them.

Mathew would say once the man had left them behind. Watching and seeing just how far he could feel the vibrations in the ground from.

Mathew would feel the vibrations for awhile before he felt them get fast as if the man started running, then the vibrations would disappear altogether... Paul would turn to look at Mathew with a look that could only mean, Duh.

Paul would just look at Mathew like he was crazy. But would remain silent as he continued onward. After a short while they would find the Crystal's that Mathew was looking for!

Paul thought about it for a moment.
"Sure, I suppose I can see your point. But I'd rather not be considered a threat and left alone so that my family would be able to not have to worry about people coming to attack our home."

"I can understand that, but a big enough threat deters attacks. I mean you don't want to go and attack the strongest settlement out there right? I'm a new face to that man, I gave him water, and asked probing questions. I doubt he will really know what to make of me. And that will make them cautious."

"Fair, but what if having strength has an opposite effect? What of it attracts stronger settlements to test our strength?"

He'd clap paul on the shoulder.

Paul would concede to those points, this man was indeed strong, and he was working them like dogs... Maybe there could be hope for the future after all...
