A Calling Upon (Link/Open)

The two would hear someone talking behind the bushes. But they couldn't make out the words. Link would make a motion that he was going to circle around. He wanted Triton to stay there, and when he was ready. Triton should make the first move.

The islander heard words ushered forth from the mouths of bodies hidden by the shrubbery, and with such sound came the revelation that Link was not threatened by the bush, but those who lurked beyond it.

However, 'twas not all the revelation of which Triton had need. The elf continued in his mystic hand movements, feeding the beast of perplexity in the islander's mind. The archer made a circle, and Triton wondered if his friend meant to cast a spell.

"I do not understand,"  he whispered.

Unfortunately, Link would already be gone. However, someone did hear his whisper...

"What was that?!... H-hello? Is anyone there?"

Quickly, Triton began to fret. What was he to do?

He recalled his friend's strange movements, and one such movement resembled a fist to the opponent. So an attack was certainly in order!

Triton rose to his feet and charged through the shrubbery toward the man, hardening his scales for a strike to his visage!

Behind the bushes was a small frail figure who began to scream and curl into a ball at Tritons sudden attack!

Triton held his place and surrendered his attack.

To his side, his fist fell. "Forgive me, traveler, I am mistaken, for I believed you were a different man."

The man would remove his arm from its defensive position. This is when Triton would see that the mans face was definitely the same as the one in the photo.

"W-who are you looking for?"

Perplexity came upon Triton once more, and he examined the mainlander.

"It seems I was not mistaken.. but perhaps the image I was given sought to fool me." Pondering brought a break in his speech, but he continued. "I shall ask my friend. I do beg that your presence remain while I seek his wisdom."

"Link! Come forth, for there has been a great confusion!" the islander shouted.

Before Link could respond the small man started to run for it!

"Halt!" Triton declared whilst he began the chase!

Before the man could make it very far 3 energy arrows would come flying from behind the trees landing in the dirt in front of the man causing him to stop panicked!

With haste the islander grasped the man's garments, lest the man sought further to escape.

"Why do you flee, mainlander?"

"I-I-I-I don't want to die! Please don't hurt me!"

He would cry out as he once again tried to wrestle free (unsuccessfully) from Triton's grasp.

Triton's grasp remained steadfast. 

"I assure you, traveler, I shall not take your life. I mean only to deliver queries. Now, pray, cease your struggle. For behold, I torment you not!"

Unfortunately the man wouldn't here Triton's words as he was cut off by the mans screaming.

"HELP! HEEEELP! SOMEBODY! PLEASE! I DON'T WANT TO DIE!"
