"Victor and Adrian are the strongest of the instructors. Don't get me wrong, he teaches, but he isn't allowed personal students because he has a tendency to fail every student he teaches."
Adrain turns his head back at Sam now annoyed.
"Give me real students and maybe they will pass."
Sam shakes her head.
"But it also depends on what you want to learn. Qi studies, Weapon skills, Hand-To-Hand, or research and development."

"Personally, I'm interested in the first three."
Research was fine as a hobby, maybe, but she was more interested in battle.

Cain snorts at Adrian's response. Good lord, he doesn't want to learn from him.
When Kaia speaks, it makes him roll his eyes. Ugh. Now he can't say that, or it'll look like he's copying Kaia.
"Uhhh... weapon skills or hand-to-hand, I'm already amazing at... maybe Qi skills..."

"Victor teaches weapon skills, I teach Qi studies, and Shino teaches Hand-to-Hand."

"Oh, excellent. I will be most pleased to meet and learn from all of you." Kaia would smile, not at all hiding how elated she was that the worst class was taught by the worst teacher. She assumes. Paaaaasss.

Sam would lead them to the building and Adrian would wander off to the side to wait for her to orient them.
"This is the main building where all the classroom stuff will happen, behind this is the training grounds. It's gated, but people sneaking in is an issue. It's four hundred acres and has Qi created environments for everything, and has populations of Qi Beasts for training. It is dangerous, but most combat training happens there."
She would then lead them to a sign in kiosk.
"Here you sign your name, and then what you are signing up for. To decide your classes."

Kaia made sure to memories what she was being shown, her eyes lingering a little extra at the training grounds. Once they arrived at the kiosk, she would grab a pen then look at Sam.
"How many things can I sign up for?"

Cain nods, following along.
While Kaia is busy talking, Cain quickly swipes a pen to start writing his name down for everything but research.
Just so it doesn't look like he's following after her.

When she’d turn back go sign up she’d frown at the fact Cain was in everything.
Almost.
Kaia would look into his eyes, then, promptly sign up for EVERYTHING. Even research.
“There’s nothing I can’t handle.” She’d say, before smirking at Cain.

Cain's eyes narrow, and without even looking, he signs his name for research.
Since he's not looking, his name goes all across the paper.
"Me. Either."
He turns to Sam, looking pretty annoyed.
"When do we start?"

"Well we will get you a place to stay, some food and rest. Then you can start."
Sam would say, as Adrian left.
"We don't have male and female dorms, we have barracks buildings and each room is male or female, but we don't have budget or space to make much of anything else for now. This is just a training facility for the military and civilian forces, so once you are actually in the military you will be assigned a team and personal barracks."
